• 最常见的用法表示 to have an effect on

  During this year's annual two sessions political meetings in March, concerns were raised that too much after-school tutoring could affect students' physical and mental health.

• to move or disturb emotionally or mentally 情感上的触动

  A thing that became clear to me while making the show was that we were really talking about people who'd been affected by trauma (受到精神创伤的人), trying to learn to move on from their trauma.

  trauma 精神创伤 动词是traumatize 形容词是traumatic
