免疫球蛋白（immunoglobulin,Ig）是一类具有抗体活性及化学结构与抗体相似的球蛋白，它的功能是与入侵的病原微生物发生免疫反应（调理、中和、制动、促进吞噬或溶细胞反应），保护机体免受病原体的侵害，参与免疫调控，保持机体内环境稳定。
Ig是一类糖蛋白，按免疫化学特性不同及其体内含量，分成五大类，分别为IgG、IgA、IgM、IgD、IgE。人免疫球蛋白（IgA、IgG、IgM）在功能结构上与糖蛋白十分相似，它们有不同的生物学特点，在不同的病理状态下，这些指标会有助于疾病的判断。
