Cosmic Dao (A Poem)

Do not worship the Dao,

For it is not a being.

Do not pray to the Dao,

For it is not divine.

Non-being the Dao is;

Always present, always emerging,

It generates the myriad things

Through countless combinations.

The most ancient mysteries are

The most distant observations.

From many iterations and transmutations,

Great complexity emerges,

Gradually unfolding its many secrets.
