abide by/adhere to 遵守，遵循；例如：Our English teacher abides by/adheres to the teaching method her teacher taught her.  我们的英语老师遵循她老师教她的教学方法。

above all 最重要的是；例如：Above all,we must try to survive. 最重要的是，我们必须努力活下去。

according to 根据，按照；例如：Tom will be judged according to what he says and does. 对汤姆的判断将根据他的言行。

account for 说明，解释；例如：Can you account for the reason why water turns into ice? 你能解释水变成冰的原因吗？

achieve one's aim/goal 实现某人的目标；例如：Many people work hard to achieve their aims/goals. 许多人努力工作来实现自己的目标。

achieve success 取得成功，获得成功；例如：He finally achieve success. 他终于取得成功。
