情态动词may和might以及must的用法区别

May和Might的用法区别：

1. 表示请求或许可，may的礼貌程度小于might

   May/Might I borrow your book?

2. 表示可能性：大概，或许；may的可能性大于might.

   Tom isn't there. He may be at home.

3. 表示祝愿，通常放在句首。

   May you succeed. 祝你成功。这种含义一般不用might

   Must的用法：

   1.表必须

   You must finish your homework first.

   2.表示禁止（当在其后加not或者在否定句中，就有禁止的意思）

   You must not smoke there. 禁止吸烟。

   3.表推测（只能用于肯定句中）：一定，肯定。

   Tom must be at home. 汤姆一定在家。
