达希尔·哈米特 (Dashiell Hammett，1894年5月27日-1961年1月10日）
美国侦探小说家。在创作之前，曾当过一段时间的侦探，达希尔·哈米特一生只创作了五个长篇故事，一个中篇故事和一些短篇小说，但每一篇都成为影响深远的经典作品，他被誉为“硬汉派侦探小说”鼻祖。达希尔·哈米特笔下的侦探有萨姆•斯佩德（Sam Spade），尼克和诺拉（Nick and Nora Charles）等等。
