After modifying the surface of the liposomes with polyethylene glycol, the long-circulating liposomes obtained can extend the half-life of the liposomes, improve their stability in the blood circulation, change the biological distribution of the liposomes, and have targeted properties.

DSPE-PEG-半乳糖是一种具有D-半乳糖基团的磷脂-PEG衍生物，在水溶液中自组装形成脂质双层。该聚合物可用于制备脂质体，对脂质体表面行聚乙二醇修饰后，得到长循环脂质体可以延长脂质体的半衰期和提高它在blood circulation中的稳定性、改变脂质体的生物学分布，并具有靶向性。
