【百词斩】常用表达“一... ... 就... ...”汇总

这个“一...就...”系列算是时间状语从句的高频考点啦，今天本编就带各位大侠见识一番！(☄⊙ω⊙)☄ 


考点1: 2/3/3系列，一共涉及8个词和短语；

A动作 once/as soon as B动作；

A动作 directly/immediately/instantly B动作 (这三个词在这里都是conj.连词哦)；

A动作 the instant/the minute/the moment B动作；意为“一…(B)…就…(A)…”；

Eg: As soon as we got home, the telephone rang.
我们一到家，电话就响了。

I recognized her immediately I saw her.
我一看见她，就认出她来了。

Directly the teacher came in everyone was quiet.
老师一进来，大家就静了下来。

I knew my father was coming the moment I heard the voice.
一听到那个声音，我就知道父亲来了。


注意：A动作 the instant或the minute/the moment B动作后，都不能加when。

I recognized her the instant/the minute/the moment I saw her. （✔️）

I recognized her the instant/the minute/the moment when I saw her. （✖️）

Everyone was quiet the instant/the minute/the moment the teacher came in. （✔️）

考点2: 3个重要短语。

hardly/scarcely..(A)...when...(B)...和no sooner...(A)...than...(B)...意为“一...(A)...就...(B)...”

主句谓语动词A要用过去完成时，从句谓语动词B要用一般过去时。

I had hardly arrived at school when it began to rain.
我一到学校，就开始下雨。

He had no sooner arrived home than he was asked to start a business trip.
他一到家，就被安排去出差。

The words had scarcely been spoken when he realized that he should be silent.
这些话一出口，他就意识到自己应该保持沉默。


★★ 注意：

hardly/scarcely和no sooner置于句首时，主句要用部分倒装！！！

Hardly had I arrived at school when it began to rain.
我一到学校，就开始下雨。

Scarcely had he finished his speech when the students started cheering.
他一演讲完，学生们就开始欢呼起来。

No sooner had I arrived at school than my mom phoned me to go back home at once.
我一到学校，妈妈就来电话让我立马回家。


根据以上三个例句，我们不妨将句型总结成：

Hardly/Scarcely had sb. done... when sb. did...

No sooner had sb. done... than sb. did...
