Ambitious spirit!
Rose is an Ambitious Sim, so she will get promoted faster than other Sims!
Workaholic: Workaholics love to work and rarely become stressed from working. Their mood suffers when they miss work, but they are able to make it up by working from home. Workaholics make the best employees!
居家办公:work from home
Hit Movie Composer:
(Reach level 10 in the Music career track(Symphonic branch))
The role of the composer is at times simple as a dainty decrescendo(减弱音) and others as complex as the most bombastic finale(终章,末乐章). The composer must be well-liked by the musicians of the symphony, a master of music, and one who truly understands logic to grasp the science of sound.
dainty: marked by delicate or diminutive beauty, form or grace
Music: Can you bring the rock, or make the strings sing with joy and inspiration? Your knowledge as a musician and your logical abilities will be put to test both on and off the stage.

开始一步一步往上爬,move up the corporate ladder的生活:
①Fan:
Before you can create, you must appreciate. The difference between devotee(爱好者,信徒) and Fan are miniscule(小字的), but it makes all the difference in the world when you're later asked to join the band on tour. Work hard and act like you're having a good time, and you just might get on the tour bus.
②Roadie(巡回乐队管理员):
The band is going to need their sandwiches and soda as soon as possible. Don't forget to pick up their laundry, their lucky bandanas, or their significant others on your way to the show. The band is relying on you for these very "important" tasks - it's best not to let them down.
bandana:large and brightly colored handkerchief, often used as a neckerchief
③Stagehand(舞台工作人员):
Now that you're on tour as a Stagehand, you'll need to familiarize yourself with lighting equipment, sound boards(音频板), spare guitars, and most importantly, learn to do the microphone check. You're one step closer to the band, yet still impossibly far away from the stage.
④Band Manager:
The band apparently trusts you enough to be the guiding hand behind the scenes. You'll be instrumental(有帮助的,起作用的) in telling them what gigs to take, where to make their appearances, and what colors the T-shirts should come in. Make sure they like you, because even though you're in charge, they still pay your salary.
⑤Music Talent Scout:
So, with the band having their typical drama, they need you to scout the local clubs for new talent. Who knows when they'll need a new drummer, or bassist(低音歌手), or singer, or pianist, or spouse... or all of the above. Grab the guitar and start learning a few chords(和弦)... you never know when you'll need to jump on stage as a replacement.
Rose Stark is quite talented with the notes! There's room for her to grow in different ways, but she needs to choose before she's given her first gig. The Rock Label wants Rose to be their new front man...eventually. She'll be up on stage in front of huge crowds playing monster ballads and crazy solos. On a more classical note, the Symphonic Lable thinks Rose has great potential for the more elegant side of music. What will be? Rock Star of Symphony?
label: a company issuing such recordings
Rose Stark is looking for an orchestral(管弦乐队的) outlet(出路) and joined the Symphonic branch of the Music career. She will always remember the first time she heard the swell of the orchestra(管弦乐队) in person.
swell: a gradual increase and decrease of the loudness of a musical sound
Meet The Symphony: Meeting your fellow symphony musicians is a great way to make new friends. Just watch out for those weird brass(铜管乐器) players...
Socialize With the Symphony: Socializing at the symphony helps build relationships with the musicians. It's also a great way to learn all those jokes about viola(中提琴) players.
⑥Quatet(四重奏) Member:
As a member of a renowned quatet, you have been given the chance to really learn and grow as a musician. Handle the strings with deft(灵巧的,敏捷熟练的) fingers, stay within the quatet members' good graces, and hit all the right notes to progress in this grand concert of a career.
⑦Orchestra Member:
The conductor noticed your quatet playing at a wedding and thinks you're better suited to the orchestra. The position implies a greater access to more wondrous(令人惊奇的,奇妙的) scores(配乐) and concerts, but also more complex and taxing(费力的,繁重的) performances. It appears your career has begun an exciting crescendo(声音)渐强!
⑧Orchestra Lead:
You've fought hard, and finally the glory, the solos, and the section are yours as First Chair(首席). You are the conductor's right hand(得力助手), the one she most trusts to get the symphony perfect. It's time to combine what you know of musicianship and logic to prove your grasp of musical theory is unsurpassed.
⑨Conductor:
There is an entire symphonic orchestra at the tip of your baton(指挥棒), just waiting for your cue to make musical masterpieces. Crowds silently wait with bated breath(屏息凝神), just hoping to hear a once-in-a-lifetime performance. Don't let them down, for that baton can be taken away just as easily as it was given.
⑩Hit Movie(热门电影) Composer:
Without peer, Rose is in charge.
Having conquered the orchestral stage, the label thinks your skills are better put to use composing delightful pieces for movies on the silver screen. As a Hit Movie Composer, your work takes top billing and brings in piles of Simoleons for the label. Quite the finish, one must say!
eg. A catfight has erupted over who will get top billing.
Congratulations! As a reward for your advancement to Hit Movie Composer, you've been allowed to keep the following "acquisition": 85g Audio Explosion from Landgraab Industries! Look for it in your family inventory when you go home.

Business as Usual: Business as usual means putting in an average amount of effort at work, and receiving an average amount of recognition for your work.
Work Hard: Working hard get you better results, just don't get burned out by the increased stress!
Take it easy: If job performance isn't a concern, take it easy at work, and enjoy life a little more!
Meet Musicians: It's important to know who your band mates are so you don't get their names wrong when giving credit for solos(独奏时致谢).
Chill With Musicians: Your band mates are all cool folk. Chilling with them and building relationships isn't such a chore.
Study Music Theory: Studying music theory is a great way to build logic and music skills. it does have the side-effect of making it difficult to listen to pop music, however.

Work wasn't so bad today. The band got into a really good groove(最佳状态) and their sweet tunes rolled through the workplace jazzing everyone up. It definitely helped pick up Rose's mood!

The world's creepiest fan came in today to beg for autographs. He knew everything about Rose and wanted to be part of the band. The manager was about to call the police but Rose took the creepy encounter in stride. in stride:泰然自若地,从容地
Things with the band didn't seem to quite jive today, even though people were working hard. To prevent panic, an ancient roadie, Ray, brought out an eight track(<音乐术语>八轨道的) of some interesting tunes that had a great beat! It really picked up the work place and left Rose feeling pretty good!
Rose did an excellent job helping lead the orchestra today! A lot of great training occured, and it is sure to pay off in the long run!
For once, the tuba((乐器)大号) section is smiling at the flutes - progress is being made! Your job performance is on the upswing(上升), and your relationship with your boss is experiencing a strong crescendo!
Work was a little slow today but that didn't stop Rose. She finnaly finished writing a song that had been in her head for years! After teaching it to the band, the producers heard it and are putting it into production right away! Rose gets a huge bonus!
There wasn't a dry eye in the house when the ensemble(乐团) played the slow, sad part, or a voice that wasn't cheering when you directed the bombastic crescendos! You are renowned as the greatest conductor and composer in town. As if that were't enough, here's your portion of ticket sales!
There wasn't a dry eye in:这里没有一个人眼睛是干的,就是说无不泪流满面
bombastic: forceful and confident in a way that is intended to be very powerful and impressive, but may not have much real meaning or effect:
crescendo: a gradual increase in volume of a musical passage
The Rockiest Road that is Rock:
Now that you're a roadie, it means long hours spent setting up speakers, lights, and really cool fire fountains. Reading "Life on the Hard Rocky Road" will help to prevent unfortunate burns from the pyrotechnic(制造烟火的) equipment, raise your job performance, and increase your relationship with your boss.
You managed to read the book before setting it on fire with the lead singer's pyrotechnic microphone stand - excellent! Your boss has been nodding in approval and your job performance has increased a bit.
I Got Your Back.. Up
The local symphony's guitarist is injured with carpal tunnel syndrome(腕管综合症) and needs to sit out from their upcoming performance. The symphony wants you to come in as back up and they're willing to pay you for your time.

A local politician is holding a fund raiser for her supporters at the restaurant and wants to hire you as the evening's musical entertainment. Travel to the restaurant with your guitar before the event ends and play some notes for the willing donors. Surely there'll be some money left over for you!
Much like the "pro-purchase" music playing at the Supermarket, your gentle strumming encouraged the donors at the fundraiser to give more than usual! The ever-generous politician wants you to have this money in appreciation for your time!
...Filing the Application
A new city ordinance(<正>条例,法令) requires that bands apply for each and every concert that they plan to put on. Your boss really doesn't want to deal with this, so you've been asked to drop off the application at City Hall. At least your boss will like you more for taking care of this, plus it'll help your job performance!

Stick Around for the Music:

That was easily the best class the children have ever had! Rock music, cool vibes, tales from the road - it was a huge success! You've been paid for helping out and your job performance has increased.
The Greatest Symphony Ever:
A great deal of cooperation and understanding is required for the symphony to perfect their art. It's a tough road to traverse, but reading "Improving Conductivity Between Brass and Woodwinds(木管乐器)" will smooth the path. Your relationship with your boss will improve, as will your job performance.
The Cinematic(电影的,影片的) Score
You've just written the score for the latest blockbuster movie, and the town is clamoring to hear it performed live. Go to the Theatre before the hype wears off and perform the symphony with your ensemble. You'll receive a percentage of ticket sales, but you'll need to perform soon.
Tisk tisk(哎呀哎呀)! The crowds gathered for your performance, yet you let them down like a poorly tuned trumpet! When there are people clamoring(clamor:大声地要求或抗议) to hear your wonderful music, delight them by getting to the show on time!
