Everything is gone, dead or burnt to a crisp, iradiated or now savage. In just a few hours this world I called home was reduced to ash. I may very well be the only sane person left on earth, I hope not though. It all happened so fast and we didn't hear the broadcast in time, but we heard the panic and the commotion coming from the city. After that, in the middle of the night a light appeared over the horizon, as bright as the morning sun itself, and it stung even with my eyes closed shut. I barely had enough time to run to the basement and close the door shut before the earthquake and the wave of heat reached the town, but for my grandparents it was too late.
Until next time dear Diary, I'm glad I still got you with me.

I'm not sure how I survived, if I really did in fact survive at all. No signs of life beside a bunch of other people in the first days, but after that either they stayed, left or died. Food is pretty scarce nowadays, with more and more survivors leaving this god forsaken place everyday for a better chance at survival. Today I'm leaving on a journey to Nebraska in hopes of finding someplace safer. If I find a small town far away from the bombs and radiation maybe I could settle there for a while, at least until the sky will go back to normal, which may take a long time unfortunately. To whoever reads this, meet me at Laposnich, it's a small town hidden in the mountains, my best bet towards a future, try doing the same and good luck to you all.

Dear Diary, I miss my daddy. Ever since the sky turned grey daddy hasn't gotten home yet, I hope he is okay. Mom has been really sad without daddy, but now she seems much more better and is helping me and my brother study math. Last Friday she taught me how to sew and cook and make a campfire, while Mrs. Petterson taught me how to make animal traps and plant seeds. I'm sad that I have to leave home without daddy, but mom said he would want that for us, to be safe. Tomorrow some of us are going back to the town to get more food and scavenge for anything useful, there might be bad people out there, so it's our job to be the good ones. I hope they find peaches.

We scouted the places a few weeks ago and they all seemed to be our best bet in finding a mode of transportation, supplies and weapons for the group, William would of agreed to that. For my sake, I have to be strong for Shannon and Alex, they are the only things I have left to care in this world and I'll be damned if I'll let anyone touch my children before I die.

I have managed to hack into the maintenance network, with a few more tweaks I may have access to the main network. That could offer vital information on a possible escape because it is pretty clear, we were left for dead.
I got it!
I have obtained full access to their interior map.
It contains every possible route, looks like Gate B might be a viable option. It is an employee access route, so it may have remained open during the facility evacuation.
Unfortunately, this map is static as I couldn't get it to sync with the facility database. Let's hope nothing has changed.

We found a Scorpion Tech map on the body!
Seems the poor soul was a lv. 5 personnel, which means level 5 map access!
The great thing about these scorpion tech maps is that they are in sync with the main database, it's map will have any and all information on the facility's current condition.
Well shit. All exits are on lockdown. Gate B is a lower security level however, so I may be able to hack it. More bad news, the map claims there to be a collapse in gate B's tunnel. We will try anyway, hopefully there is a way through. We'll be using the railway until we reach the facility's hospital. From there we will follow the road until we get to Gate B's access. We move out in an hour.
