《Jabberwocky》是刘易斯·卡罗尔创作的诗歌，出自刘易斯·卡罗尔的儿童文学作品《爱丽丝镜中奇遇记》第一章。
诗歌原文：
'Twas brillig，and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe；
All mimsy were the borogoves，
And the mome raths outgrabe.
'Beware the Jabberwock，my son！
The jaws that bite，the claws that catch！ Beware the Jubjub bird，and shun
The frumious Bandersnatch！'
He took his vorpal sword in hand：
Long time the manxome foe he sought
So rested he by the Tumtum tree，
And stood awhile in thought.
And as in uffish thought he stood.
The Jabberwock，with eyes of flame， Came whiffling through the tulgey wood， And burbled as it came！
One，two！One，two！And through and through
The vorpal blade went snicker-snack！

刘易斯·卡罗尔（Lewis Carroll，1832年1月27日—1898年1月14日），英国著名作家、数学家、逻辑学家、圣公会牧师、摄影家。他以两部小说作品闻名：《爱丽丝漫游奇境记》及《镜中世界》。卡罗尔是与安徒生、格林兄弟齐名的世界顶尖儿童文学大师。他的作品充满怪诞、奇幻的现代童话风格，被誉为荒诞文学的最高成就。《爱丽丝梦游仙境》奠定了卡罗尔现代童话之父的地位。
