משֶׁה קִבֵּל תּוֹרָה מִסִּינַי, וּמְסָרָהּ לִיהוֹשֻׁעַ, וִיהוֹשֻׁעַ לִזְקֵנִים, וּזְקֵנִים לִנְבִיאִים, וּנְבִיאִים מְסָרוּהָ לְאַנְשֵׁי כְנֶסֶת הַגְּדוֹלָה. הֵם אָמְרוּ שְׁלשָׁה דְבָרִים, הֱווּ מְתוּנִים בַּדִּין, וְהַעֲמִידוּ תַלְמִידִים הַרְבֵּה, וַעֲשׂוּ סְיָג לַתּוֹרָה

Moses received the Torah at Sinai and transmitted it to Joshua, Joshua to the elders, and the elders to the prophets, and the prophets to the Men of the Great Assembly. They said three things: Be patient in [the administration of] justice, raise many disciples and make a fence round the Torah.

摩西从西奈山接受妥拉并传给了约书亚，约书亚给了长老，长老给了先知，先知给了大会众的众人。他们说了三件事：公义的要忍耐，要多多兴起门徒，要建立妥拉之墙

Joshua

As Moses's successor, Joshua led the Israelites into the Land of Israel. Under his leadership, they conquered much of the land. Joshua was one of the only of the generation of the Exodus to remain alive to go into the Promised Land.

约书亚

作为摩西的继承者，约书亚带领以色列人进入到应许之地。在他的领导下，他们征服了大片土地。约书亚是出埃及后唯一存活且进入应许之地的一代。

יהושע

בתור יורשו של משה, יהושע הוביל את בני ישראל לתוך הארץ המובטחת. תחת הנהגתו כבש העם חלקים נרחבים מן הארץ. יהושע וכלב הם היחידים מדור יוצאי מצרים ששרדו את המדבר ונכנסו לארץ המובטחת.

.בְּתוֹר יֻרְשׁוֹ שֶׁל מֹשֶׁה, יְהוֹשֻׁעַ הוֹבִיל אֶת בְּנֵי יִשְׂרַאֵל לְתוֹך הָאָרֶץ הַמֻּבְטַחַת

.תַּחַת הַנְהַגָתוֹ כָּבַשׁ הָעָם חֲלָקִים נִרְחָבִים מִן הָאָרֶץ

.יְהוֹשֻׁעַ וְכָלֵב הֵם הַיְחִידִים מָדוֹר יוֹצְאֵי מִצְרַיִם שֶׁשָׂרְדוּ אֶת הַמִּדְבָּר וְנִכְנְסוּ לָאָרֶץ הַמֻּבְטַחַת
