The IELTS A and G tests differ in terms of the range of grades applicable and the structure of the test. Class A is applicable to undergraduate and graduate degree applicants who study abroad, and Class G is applicable to immigrant life. For Category A and Category G, the listening and speaking sections are the same, while the writing and reading sections are different.
