And actually, personally, I’v been to Mexico once.I was deeply impressed with this country for its very diverse culture, for people with great passion, amazing food, of course, and also thousands, where even numerous different kinds of chili peppers. But, Mr. Ambassador, if you could just name one thing that you think is really really interesting, really unique about this country to our reviewers here in China, what would it be?
事实上，我去过一次墨西哥。墨西哥给我留下了深刻的印象，因为这个国家有多元文化、充满激情的人民、美味的食物以及数以千计的辣椒品种。但是，大使先生，如果用一种东西代表墨西哥，认为这个国家最有趣、最独特的地方，向我们中国的观众介绍，您觉得是什么？

-I’v heard of that.我听说过这个节日。
If I had to name one, the first of November is the Day of the Dead. Well, on the Day of the Dead, we honor ancestors. Notice how your ancestors could be your brother or your son who passed away. But we are not the dead. It’s the day that we honor the dead. It’s a deeply moving day, it’s a religious festival. People take it deeply to heart. But at the same time, it has turned over the centuries into the most amazing source of creativity in terms of arts and handicrafts.
如果让我必须说一个，十一月一日是墨西哥亡灵节。在亡灵节那天，我们要祭祀我们的祖先。请注意，也可能是你去世的兄弟或儿子等已故的亲属。但我们不是死者，而是我们纪念死者的日子。这是一个令人感动的日子，也是一个宗教节日。人们把这一天牢牢记在心间。但与此同时，经过几个世纪的发展，它成为了艺术和手工艺品创造力了的最神奇的来源。

I show it not because it’s great, but to show an attitude. It is the attitude of taking death or something very natural, something that you can join and embrace.

You can cast a new light to death, not just like mourning and crying.
