“黄崽，白崽，你们已经到了六个月的年龄了，现在是你们成为学徒的时候了。从今天起，直到你们得到你们的武士名字，你们将被称为黄爪和白爪。我请求星族守护你并指引你，直到你在你的爪子中发现武士的力量和勇气。”

“霜暴，蓝牙，过来吧。”喵着白星。

“霜暴，你已经准备好接受一个学徒了。你已经接受了灰心的优秀训练，你展示了自己的凶猛和勇敢。你将成为黄爪的导师，我希望你把你所知道的一切都传给他。”

“蓝牙，你将是白爪的导师。你刚刚养大了你的猫崽，但你展示了你不懈的精力。你可以传给白爪所知道的一切。”

黄爪和白爪自信地走到空地上，与他们的导师碰触鼻子。

“黄爪！白爪！”

“我真为你们俩感到骄傲！”雪脸兴奋地喵喵叫着。

豹崽失望地走开了。

“没关系。”火足喵着走来。“你也很快就会成为学徒的。”

斑耳从她的巢穴里跑出。“夜族的猫儿们，你知道，我不会永远在你身边。所以我该去收个学徒了。我选择了一只对草药和治疗非常感兴趣的猫。你的下一只医药猫将是亮崽。”

“亮崽，你接受斑耳的学徒职位吗？”白星喵道。

“是的。”

“在半月时，你必须到银石，在其他医药猫面前被星族接受。”

“夜族的美好祝愿将伴随你而去。从今天起，你将被称为亮爪。”白星高兴地喵喵叫着。

“亮爪！亮爪！”

在族群欢呼声中，斑耳和亮爪碰了碰鼻子。

“我想我唯一能做的就是责怪那鼠脑子！”暗崽冲进了森林。“那星族诅咒的豹崽！”

“等等我！”亮爪跟在她姐姐后面喵着。

“我的孩子？！”蓝牙喊道。“暗崽甚至没有当学徒，亮爪也没有接受过任何培训！她们怎么能这样离开！”

“别担心，我和斑耳会把他们带回去的。”蝰蛇尾自信地摇了摇尾巴。

“狐狸粪！你知道暗崽跑得有兔子快，我打赌她们已经到了泥泞洞！”

“保持冷静！我们当然会找到他们并把她们安全带回来。”

“亮爪已经知道一些草药。如果遇到麻烦，她们可以处理。”斑耳似乎稍有点焦急，但已准备好出发了。“我们现在出发吧，好吗？”

“狐狸，该死的！当心！”

Chapter 4

"Yellowkit,Whitekit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Yellowpaw and Whitepaw. I ask StarClan to watch over you and guide you until you find in your paws the strength and courage of a warrior."

"Froststorm, Bluefang, come foward."mewed Whitestar

"Froststorm, you are ready to take on an apprentice. You had received excellent training from Grayheart, and you have shown yourself to be fierce and brave. You will be the mentor of Yellowpaw, and I expect you to pass on all you know to him."

"Bluefang, you would be mentor of Whitepaw. You've just nursed your kits, but you have shown your tireless energy. You could past all you known to Whitepaw."

Yellowpaw and Whitepaw walked confidently in the clearing to touch noses with their mentors. 

"Yellowpaw! Whitepaw!"

"I'm so proud of you two!"mewed Snowface with excitement.

Leopardkit walked away with disappointment.

"It's okay."mewed Firefoot as he walks by."You'll make an apprentice in no time."

Patchear paddled from her den.

"Cats of Nightclan, as you know, I will not be around forever. So it's time I took an apprentice. I have chosen a cat who has shown great interest in herbs and healing. Your next medicine cat will be Brightkit."
"Brightkit, do you accept the post of apprentice to Patchear?"mewed Whitestar.
"I do."
"Then at the half-moon, you must travel to the Silverrock to be accepted by StarClan before the other Medicine Cats."
"The good wishes of all Nightclan will go with you. From today on you would be known as Brightpaw."Whitestar mewed cheerfully.
"Brightpaw! Brightpaw!"

Patchear touched noses with Brightpaw as the clan cheered.

"Guess the only thing I would do is blame that mouse-brain!"Darkkit ran away into the forest."That Starclan cursed Leopardkit!"

"Wait for me!"mewed Brightpaw as she followed her sister.

"My kits?!"Bluefang cried out."Darkkit didn't even make an apprentice and Brightkit haven't recieved any training yet! How can they leave like this!"

"Don't worry. Me and Patchear wil go take them back."Addertail shifted his tail confidently.

"Fox dung! You know Darkkit is rabbit-fast, I bet they've already reached muddy hollow!"

"Just stay calm! Of course we will find them and bring them back safely."

"Brightpaw already knows a bit of herbs. They could deal with it if they get in trouble."Patchear seemed a little anxious,but was ready to go."Let's set off now, shall we?" 

"Fox, Darkkit! Look out!"

Darkkit hesitated for a heartbeat, then hid in the bushes quickly.
