As an Australian, I found the -25 degree celsius temperatures particularly challenging, but this experience at Harbin''s Snow and Ice Sculpture Festival was SO SO SO WORTH IT! Would recommend a visit for absolutely anyone. If I can do it - so can you!

Many people use these two apps only for hooking up. If you wanna really make some friends, I think, Soul(a name of an app) might be a better one, but not much better than the mentioned ones. Dating apps are not reliable. But you would ignore what I said if you tend to hook up with someone.

Great city. Was in Harbin in 2010 in Dec. It was -30c at night amazing night scenery during the festival. Then took train to Yabuli ski resort 3hrs away. Was even colder there particularly with the wind slicing at your face at night. Amazing.
