箴言1:29-33

כט  תַּחַת, כִּי-שָׂנְאוּ דָעַת;    וְיִרְאַת יְהוָה, לֹא בָחָרוּ.

29 For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD;

1:29 因为你们恨恶知识、不喜爱敬畏耶和华、

תַּחַת = [tachat] under 在……之下

כִּי-שָׂנְאוּ = [ki-sane'u] for they hated 因为他们恨

דָעַת = [da'at] knowledge 知识

וְיִרְאַת = [veyir'at] and fear of 而……的敬畏

יְהוָה = [adonai] the LORD 耶和华

לֹא = [lo] not 不

בָחָרוּ = [vacharu] they chose 他们选择了

ל  לֹא-אָבוּ לַעֲצָתִי;    נָאֲצוּ, כָּל-תּוֹכַחְתִּי.

30 They would none of my counsel, they despised all my reproof.

1:30 不听我的劝戒、藐视我一切的责备、

לֹא-אָבוּ = [lo-avu] not-they were consent 他们不同意

לַעֲצָתִי = [la'atzati] to my counsel 对我的劝解

נָאֲצוּ = [na'atzu] they despised 他们藐视

כָּל-תּוֹכַחְתִּי = [kol-tochachti] all of my reproof 我的一切责备

לא  וְיֹאכְלוּ, מִפְּרִי דַרְכָּם;    וּמִמֹּעֲצֹתֵיהֶם יִשְׂבָּעוּ.

31 Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices.

1:31 所以必吃自结的果子、充满自设的计谋。

וְיֹאכְלוּ = [veyochelu]  and they shall eat 而他们当吃

מִפְּרִי = [mipperi] from fruit of 从……的果实

דַרְכָּם = [darkam] their way 他们的道路

וּמִמֹּעֲצֹתֵיהֶם = [umimmo'atzotehem] and with their devices 而从他们的计谋

יִשְׂבָּעוּ = [yisba'u] they will be filled 他们将满足

לב  כִּי מְשׁוּבַת פְּתָיִם תַּהַרְגֵם;    וְשַׁלְוַת כְּסִילִים תְּאַבְּדֵם.

32 For the waywardness of the thoughtless shall slay them, and the confidence of fools shall destroy them.

1:32 愚昧人背道、必杀己身．愚顽人安逸、必害己命。

כִּי = [ki] for 因为

מְשׁוּבַת = [meshuvat] waywardness of ……的背道

פְּתָיִם = [petayim] silly 愚笨的人

תַּהַרְגֵם = [tahargem] it will kill them 它会杀他们

וְשַׁלְוַת = [veshalvat] and confidence of 而……的安逸

כְּסִילִים = [kesilim] fools 愚顽的人

תְּאַבְּדֵם = [te'abbedem] it will destroy them 它会毁灭他们

לג  וְשֹׁמֵעַ לִי, יִשְׁכָּן-בֶּטַח;    וְשַׁאֲנַן, מִפַּחַד רָעָה.

33 But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell securely, and shall be quiet without fear of evil.' {P}

1:33 惟有听从我的、必安然居住、得享安静、不怕灾祸。

וְשֹׁמֵעַ = [veshome'a] and hearing 而听从……的人

לִי = [li] to me 对我

יִשְׁכָּן-בֶּטַח = [yishkan-betach] he will settle securely 他会安住

וְשַׁאֲנַן = [vesha'anan] and he shall be quiet 而他将安然

מִפַּחַד = [mippachad] from fear of 从……的惊惶

רָעָה = [ra'ah] evil 邪恶
