The Little Prince Meets Peter Pan

    Two years later, the little prince went to the earth to visit the snake. After visiting the snake, he caught sight of Neverland by chance when flying. He was attracted by the beauty of Neverland. So he settled there. He met Peter.

    Peter asked:” who are you?” 

    The little prince answered:” I’m a little prince from a planet called B612.” 

    Peter said:” my name is Peter Pan. This island is called Neverland. People on this island would never grow up. I came here shortly after I was born. I have been living here for more than 100 years. But I’m still a little kid.” 

    The little prince asked:” is this a really interesting place?” 

    Peter answered:” yes. Life here is full of wonder and adventures. I can make friends with the Indians. Once upon a time I saved one of them, so they regard me as their friend. This is my partner Jane. We can tell stories to each other.” 

    The little prince said:” my planet is not so interesting. It is so small, where the greatest pleasure is to watch sunset. It is easy to watch sunset many times a day on such a small planet. One day I watched sunset 44 times. I can also look after my rose, whom I love so much.” 

    Peter asked:” Would you like to live in here?”

    The little prince answered:” No. I have to return to my planet.”

    The little prince thought:” maybe Peter is the luckiest person in the whole wide universe. He doesn’t have to grow up. He is just enjoying what his own heart really likes. He is forever happy and free. He doesn’t care about wealth, power or position, which don’t necessarily make people happy. Many grown-ups are striving to be wealthy, powerful and successful. They don’t know what their own inner hearts really love. They have forgotten that they all used to be little kids, who would devote their time to a rag doll. They are really unlucky.”
