Oblique Photography Import And Edit User Guide

1.Project Setting

(1).ProjectSetting->Engine->Rendering->Postprocessing->CustomDepth-StencilPass.

      Set Value Enabled With Stencil.

(2).Create New Trace Channel ,Custom Name.

       ProjectSetting->Engine->Collision->Trace channels->New Trace Channel.

(3).Create New Profile,Custom Name.

     ProjectSetting->Engine->Collision->Preset->New

(4).Open Plugin

      Plugins->Other->ObliquePhotography

    Modeling->Oblique Photography

    (5).Set the highlight material,the material is in plugin

             PostprocessVolume->Rendering Features->Post Process Materials



2.Import Oblique Photography


   (1).You can know the meaning of parameters through labels.

      (2).The imported directory is consistent with the original oblique photography.

      (3).Materials can be customized, but there must be one parameter of  texture type                        named "Diffuse".

    (4).You can save while importing(breakpoint continuation is supported).

    (5).ImportByLevel Filter by file name.Multiple condition can be added.

    (6).Restart the project after importing.

3.Edit Mesh Property

    (1).Select All Mesh Asset.

    (2).Set the model Component Tags,custom name.


4.Flatten By Model

    (1).Parameter Description

  •           Strength->  Z axis offset of model

  •           Size->  brush size

  •           Hit Offset-> offset of mouse click postion in the world space

  •           Point Edit Type-> edit the mesh vertex below model or above model

  •           Use Spline-> use spline or not 

  •           Hit Density-> the mouse cilck density along spline ,value range[0.5,2.0] 

  •          Trace Tag-> the component tag name of model ,set in  Edit Mesh Property

  •           Edit All Mesh Or With Brush Range-> Edit All Mesh Or With Brush Range

  •           Trace Type Query->  Trace channel created in Project Setting

       (2).Edit All Mesh, FlattenByModel

             Parameter  Setting

  •           Edit All Mesh Or With Brush Range-> All

  •           Use Spline-> Uncheck


       After setting ,Click in the scene.

          Parameter  Setting

  •           Edit All Mesh Or With Brush Range-> Brush Range

  •           Use Spline-> Uncheck

         After setting ,Click in the scene.

        (4).Edit Mesh With Spline,FlattenByModel

          Parameter  Setting

  •           Edit All Mesh Or With Brush Range-> Brush Range

  •           Hit Density-> 2.0 

  •           Use Spline-> Check


      Create Spline Actor First,Make Shure The Parameter  Is Active Is Cheched

      Click in the scene.

5.Slope Smooth

   (1).Parameter Description

  •           Strength->  Z axis offset of hit point

  •           Size->  brush size

  •           Hit Offset-> offset of mouse click postion in the world space

  •           Point Edit Type-> edit the mesh vertex below model or above model

  •           Use Spline-> use spline or not 

  •          Hit Density-> the mouse cilck density along spline ,value range[0.5,2.0] 

  •         Slope Curve-> the shape of slope,Can be customized

  •          Is Linear Slope-> do not use Slope Curve

        (2).Edit Mesh With Spline Slope Smooth

          Parameter  Setting

  •           Hit Density-> 2.0 

  •           Use Spline-> Check

  •          Slope Curve-> Customized Slope(Float Curve)

Click In The Scene.

  •           Use Spline-> Uncheck

  •          Slope Curve-> Customized Slope(Float Curve)

6.DeleteOP

   (1).Parameter Description

  •           Strength->  do not work

  •           Size->  brush size

        (2).Edit Mesh With Brush Range,DeleteOP

          Parameter  Setting

  •           Use Spline-> Uncheck

Click In The Scene.

  •           Hit Density-> 2.0 

  •           Use Spline-> Check

Create a New Spline,set parameterIs Activevalue True

7.Delete By Model

    (1).Parameter Description

  •           Strength->  do not work

  •           Size->  brush size

  •           Hit Density-> the mouse cilck density along spline ,value range[0.5,2.0]

  •           Edit All Mesh Or With Brush Range-> Edit All Mesh Or With Brush Range

  •           Trace Type Query->  Trace channel created in Project Setting

       (2).Edit All Mesh, DeleteByModel

             Parameter  Setting

  •           Edit All Mesh Or With Brush Range-> All

  •           Use Spline-> Uncheck

Click In The Scene.

  •           Edit All Mesh Or With Brush Range-> BrushRange

  •           Use Spline-> Uncheck

  •           Hit Density-> 2.0

Create a new spline.After parameter set,click in the scene.

8.DeleteOP

  •          Noise-> avoid flash

       (2).Edit Mesh With Brush Range, Flatten

             Parameter  Setting

  •           Use Spline-> Uncheck

Click In The Scene.

  •           Hit Density-> 2.0 

  •           Use Spline-> Check

8.Boundary Edge

  •           GetEdges->  calculate all edges

  •           Spawn Spline->  spawn spline or not

  •           Spline Actor->spline can be customized

  •           Filter Distance-> The vertices whose distance is less than this value are 

                                             regarded  as the same vertex

  •          Complete->when the calculation is done , check automaticly

Select a static mesh in the scene ,set parameter.

Click Get Edges wait until Complete is checked.Then Click Accept.

Get Boundary

9.Create Edge Spline

  •           Delete Selete Spline->  delete selected spline

  •           Delete Spline->  delete all splines which are useless

  •           Merge Spline-> merge the boundary spline

  •           Delete Original-> delete original spline or not 

  •           Spline Actor-> actor

  •           Merge Distance-> The vertices whose distance is less than this value are                                                    regarded  as the same vertex

Select the start spline click MergeSpline.
