Our picture has been taken in the southern Spanish province of Cadiz, Andalusia, where these fellows are an inseparable part of the rural landscape since they abound where there are crops and olive trees.The little owl is a very common bird, but no less special for that. To the point that it was the figure that appeared in the coins of Ancient Greece, because according to the classical mythology it was the bird of Athena, the goddess of wisdom and arts.
