《彩虹工厂》原版与21年修订版细节对比

感谢AD创作出这么棒的故事！既然虹厂都有了修订，那么中文版也不能落下。虽然直到前不久我才意识到这个事实……不过亡羊补牢未为晚也。
本文只是个人阅读分享，重心在情节和世界观的改动而非用词上面（我也没那个水平），尽量客观呈现出变动的细节，以便大家对虹厂宇宙（Factoryverse）的设定有更好的理解。如有任何疑惑问题，欢迎指出讨论！
那么……就开始吧！
一、专有名称
1、工厂的官方名字：云中城气象公司（Cloudsdale Weather Corporation，CWC）。
修订版：While a great amount of pegasi are employed in the Rainbow department of the Cloudsdale Weather Corporation, almost all of them do the Lower Factory work.
原版：While a great amount of Pegasi ponies are employed in the Rainbow department of the weather factory, almost all of them do the low-end work.
与此同时还确定了上层工厂（Upper Factory）和下层工厂（Lower Factory）的分区，都需要大写。另外CWC也可以被俗称为彩虹工厂（Rainbow Factory），一般不再称为天气工厂（Weather Factory），后者仅在修订版《彩虹工厂》中出现了一次，出自小璐之口。
而正剧中一般称为天气工厂而不是彩虹工厂。算是……区分吧。
2、集体之名：Flock（这个我暂时没有找到信达雅的中文翻译，能同时涵盖飞行生物、集体主义、信仰等词素）
修订版：If you weren’t the best or didn’t show the potential of being the greatest, you weren’t allowed to be part of the Flock; the ‘glorious collective’ that Cloudsdalians referred to themselves as.
原版：If you weren’t the best, or didn’t show the potential of being the greatest, you weren’t allowed to be part of the ‘glorious collective’.
这个词可是虹厂精髓词之一了，修订版在这里正式引入Flock，下了定义。
不过Flock在《彩虹工厂》中也是出现了的。经典slogan。
“Exactly. Praise the Flock.”（Scootaloo）
“Praise the Flock,” Orion replied reluctantly.（Orion）
黑体是修订版加入的内容，更符合奥赖恩的性格。
3、工厂职务：董事（Director）
修订版：Ever since I worked my way up here, got promoted to Director, all thanks to your urging. I learned a lot about this place. Why do you think I pushed you so hard to train? Got so mad when you skipped practice? How do you…（Rainbow Dash）
原版：Ever since I performed that Sonic Rainboom, and they approached me... They wanted to find more ways to make Spectrum. They thought that, if I was capable of making rainbows, I could help them make its components. Well, they couldn’t. But I learned a lot about this place. I’m the manager here now, you know? I worked my way up, in secret, pretending to only be simple weather control. How do you think I could afford that massive house over Ponyville? How do you...（Rainbow Dash）
修订版：I’m one of the directors for the Corporation.（Rainbow Dash）
原版：I’m one of the Forecolts in this facility.（Rainbow Dash）
没有经理了。而且跟彩虹音爆、强迫进厂、研究光谱什么的都没有关系，单纯一个勤奋打工马。
多说一点，就我自己的认知来说公司结构是这样的：目前已知的部门（Department）有彩虹生产部门（Rainbow Productions），闪电生产部门（Lightning Productions），水生产部门（Water Productions），空气生产部门（Air Productions），物流部门（Logistics）。部门领导为主管（Head），同时也是董事（Director），组成董事会（Board）。彩虹生产部门的主管是执行董事（Executive Director），整个公司的最大领导。
4、武器：泰瑟枪/电击枪（taser）
是液体雷电做的武器。
修改版：liquid thunder-tipped rods
仅一处，泰瑟枪一词第一次出现的地方换成了这个，后面还是使用的“taser”。
5、地狱之名：塔尔塔洛斯（Tartarus）
骂马的时候用的，应该是根据正剧播出后做出的符合小马世界的修改。
修改版：You shut the Tartarus up about us, ……
原版：You shut the HELL up about us, ……
顺带一提，其他和谐词汇也有修改：flocking/flockin’——goddamn；Celestia——God。

二、设定
1、公司董事都有进出工厂的权力，不只是黛西的特权。
修订版：Being a director, she was one of the only ones allowed out in public,……
原版：She was the only one allowed out in public,……
2、初代天马设备的构造：顶部进料斗，内有刀片，伸出八根像蜘蛛一样的管子，直接插入地板，将光谱运送到下层工厂。
总的形状：
修订版：At one end of the room, there was a peculiar looking machine. It was large and cubic, and almost featureless save for eight clear glass tubes that jutted out from the sides like spider legs. At the top of the box was a single, massive hopper, red with rust despite the rest of the machine appearing shiny and clean. Even further above that were a system of chains and gears that hung loosely off of a length of scaffolding.
原版：At one end of the room,there was six square vats, each one nearly full with individual Spectra. Above them was a peculiar looking machine. From a central stack, six hoses broke off and lead above each of the individual vats. 后面处理幼驹时多次强调了刀片，这里列出一例。

没错，看到刀片，我想尾烟了……
3、工厂BGM嗡嗡声（hum）。
修订版：Pipes ran along the ceiling, and a loud, consistent hum ran in the background,……
原版：Pipes ran along the ceiling, and a loud ‘whirr’ ran in the background,……
没有嗡嗡声就会闹鬼。
4、黛西和小蝶的关系。
修订版：Fluttershy, a former friend of Rainbow Dash’s, she’s a Pegasus who lives in Ponyville. Rainbow Dash told me we couldn’t speak to her because she never passed flight school; she never took her test. （Scootaloo）
原版：Flutteryshy, an old friend of mine, she’s a Pegasus who lives in Ponyville. She never passed flight school, she never took her test. （Scootaloo）
修改以符合《气象工人之歌》里面的设定。
5、工厂特色灰大门。
修订版：Dr. Atmosphere opened a grey, heavy-looking door in the wide corridor, ……
原版：Dr. Atmosphere opened a heavy looking door in a cramped corridor, ……
一群性冷淡的最爱。
6、海德老头堂堂冠名，登场演讲。
修订版：A few official looking Pegasi walked in on the scaffolding, and turned to look down on the group with disgust. Dr. Atmosphere stood onto a small podium set up in the center, and began speaking loudly and clearly.
原版：A few official looking Pegasi walked in on the scaffolding, and turned to look down on the group with disgust. One of them stood onto a small podium set up in the center, and began speaking loudly and clearly.
另外顺带一说，根据修订版的后文，这群“official looking Pegasi”应该是董事们。你们就来看热闹的是吧。（）
