 21 Lesson 4 - Classic VisDev Painting Part 4 - VidDev Demo - PT2 P21 - 00:01演示二。 

 Hey, hey, hey, welcome back. You're just in time for us to take this piece into a finish. We're gonna start by taking this piece to a color version first.我们开始给黑白灰作品上色。 I break it down into individual pieces. For example, there is a bridge, there is Ross, there's rocks, there's the sky, we have little red and we also have the goat. 我们分解成不同的元素,比如桥 岩石 天空 小红帽和羊。These are all different objects. And so I'm going to just go ahead and take my lasso tool. As you can see. P21 - 00:42用的颜色。 

I'm filling each of these in with flat colors as if there are no lights. 如果没有灯光我们可以填充实体颜色。If you don't feel comfortable just painting it in or using the lasso tool that you can totally use a line art at the stage two and going into line every single individual item.如果你感觉绘制不舒服,可以选择用线条勾勒出不同部位。 for me because its speed and simplicity just the way that I like to work.我用套索工具简单的勾勒出,暂时不在意线条是否完美。提高效率。 I'm just gonna lasso everything out. And I don't really prefer having line and work on my thing. But that's just profits. 

P21 - 01:05用下面的线稿。 

because i have my sketch underneath. It's very easy for me to just paint on Top. 因为下面是我的底稿,所以我在上面绘制很容易。This is a method that works the fastest for me. And what I would do if someone needed a painting pretty quickly. If it doesn't work for you, that's totally OK. 如果这方法不适合你,可以用线条够了替代。Use liner instead. Whatever you need to do, as long as you get a flat color system out, 不管哪种方式都是填色的轮廓。 

P21 - 01:24具体选择哪种颜色。 

As I’m painting, you’ll see that I'm not really stressed about what specific color I'm using, as long as it's the local color as if there's no light.我并不纠结具体用哪一个颜色,假如这没有灯光,这没有局域颜色。 It's basically the most elementary things, like green grass, blue water, blue sky, and those kinds of things. 基本的元素比如绿草 蓝水 蓝天鸟等。This is because I will be able to change it later on and my main goal and priority right now is to make sure that each of these separate items are number one separated into different layers. 是因为现在不同元素放入到不同的层面,我可以稍后改变主要目标和优先级。And number two, that I have something to start off with. I have a neutral lighting setup. 第二,我有设置自然灯光开始着手。

Other things you’ll notice that I’m doing during the stage as I keep my reference is very close to me the entire time. 我总是选择把参考图放到离着我近地方。I've kept little reference up, occasionally pulled a goat reference up to make sure that I'm making the goat very accurate. 比如我把山羊放到离着我近的地方,确保准确的。Capturing all of his go to the honor. next step. Now do you remember when we did that initial black and white composition? It's going to be right here. We're gonna grab that layer, drag it to the Top, and then we're gonna take this grouping. Click multiply.我们选择这一组,选择多重。 So just like that. And I know, yes, but just ever so slightly lower the opacity, you can start to see a very early block off of what our big values will look like in the very beginning.降低不透明度,我们一开始大块阻塞的阈值。 Super quick, though. I'm just going to fine tune this a little bit more, because I painted each of these into different little pieces.我现在进行精细调整,因为我是绘制成独立元素的。 If I open my file here, then I get every single piece like the bridge is here. The grass is here, the shrubs, the rock, and they're all labeled as such. 右侧列表是元素比如桥 草 灌木丛 岩石都罗列到位。I'm gonna teach you a really cool trick. 

P21 - 03:46技巧? 

All you gotta do is hold down the control button control. And then you click the icon just like that. And you select everything on that specific layer.So I'm just gonna CTRL D to deselect. 按住Ctrl不放,点击右侧元素的徽标,套索工具选中那区域。按ctrl+D去选择。 Let's try that again with the grass control select like that. You can select everything on the layers.  

P21 - 04:07复盘。 

So just to recap, it is CTRL and click the icon. Let's say you want to do two different things, like you want to do the grass and shrubs and do CTRL shift. So you can see like right here, it's my little cursor on the bottom says control plus shift. And then you click the little icon and you click it. 如果你选择草丛和灌木丛,同时按住Ctrl+Shift,选中目标元素,And there you have it. You have selected the shrubs, the bushes. And this will make painting so much faster when you're drawing in different layers. 

P21 - 04:36灰白黑阈值组合? 

There you have it. A very simple black and white composition that uses second a clear three values. If I take away the mountains, then there you go. Now it's three values, but this is going to serve as the backbone. And I'm just going to keep this right here. I'm gonna take these four layers and group them up and name them as atmosphere. 打组并重命名“大气层”。 show so that I can come back and check with it every single time that I need to make sure that I keep my atmosphere correct. So you can see that even now, this piece here which has different values with depth, is a lot more compelling actually than this piece, which is just the flat colors, is that this piece here looks really boring and rightfully so. 但是这彩色图看起来平平无奇。But don't worry. We're going to make it look cool in just a moment. 

P21 - 06:00如何点缀? 

So we have to look for our color preferences, because have you notice that? this is basically a neutral lighting painting. 这是中性灯绘制。This is literally like are cinnamon roll demo, except now instead of a cinnamon roll in a teacup, we get a little red on a bridge in an environment. 我们现在有小红帽走在桥上的图了。So the first thing I'm gonna do is I'm gonna pull up my reference again. And I really want to go for kind of this setting off on your adventure kind of vibes. 

P21 - 06:28选环境参考图。 

I'm going to look and I think i'll go for this one, so like this piece right here, first of all, I'm going to ask myself, what is the light in this color?首先问颜色中的光源选什么? Because this piece is mainly grass. Right now the sun is hitting here right here. And it's giving off this light on the grass right here.本图太阳光打在草坪上。 So it's like this color, my entire picture is right here. Here is my reference image. Above my picture. I have a new layer that I'm going to set to multiply. 参考图在我的图上,新图层,模式多重。 

P21 - 07:05吸取颜色。 

And then. Eye color. Pick the light grasp loop. Take my paint bucket tool. Its are multiply.选择油漆桶工具,模式多重。 Don't forget. and as you can see, its way too dark, obviously. 

P21 - 07:17太暗了,调整。 

So now we adjust it. We go to our reference image. And I'm just going to carve out a piece. in case you were curious as to how I did that. I just clicked CTRL j. When I made this selection. 快捷键Ctrl+J从参考图取样。It will basically make a new copy of this selection on a different layer.从同一图层做新的选择副本。放在我放的位置草坪,对着取样调整草坪。 So this is the kind of level that I'm trying to reach. Therefore I put it on to my grass and I just adjust this as I need to.  

P21 - 07:41有时候颜色不满意? 

Sometimes it's not possible to change this multiply layer and get the color that you want. So I'm just gonna go into my picture and I actually go to the grass directly. 直接到草坪。改变颜色。So this is my grass, and I change the color here. And that's pretty close. If you ask me. 

P21 - 08:08类似的操作。 

So now I'm going to do the exact same thing, but with the darks’ of the peace. 我给其他暗的部分同样的操作。Therefore I take my whole picture control J. So I get a new copy. Pull it up. 备份,提到上层。Then I go into the shadow parts. So the shadow would be kind of this area. And I just call it blue, make a new layer, set it to multiply.阴影部分,新图层,模式多重。 

P21 - 08:34太暗了。 

And as you can see, again, it's going to be way too dark. So we are going to adjust it until we get to the accurate color.调节到正确的颜色。 But now that's looking a lot closer. I'm gonna put these two into a group like so. 两个合并到一组。And then I use a clipping mask down here, clipping mask, take a black. And now I'm able to paint whatever is underneath it. 我选择剪切板,可以绘制下面的。There is one very important part of this process, though. 

P21 - 09:10很重要的一过程? 

It is that the background is something that you cannot just leave like this, 背景不能留成这样不管了,没有绿色天空。cause no sky looks this green and ugly. So I look at the sky in my reference image and I just colour pick from it. 从参考天空中吸取颜色。  simple as that. I go ahead and select out my sky and on an upper layer. So a layer is actually higher than everything else.选择位置高的图层。绘制成蓝灰天空。 I'm going to paint in my sky. You can see now almost immediately their effect of this back lit son is working.出现了落日余晖。 You can kind of totally see it right? 

P21 - 09:53光与影? 

now I'm gonna go ahead and roughly place out my lights versus my shadows by drawing on my shadow. So first of all what I do is I take my black and I completely paint bucket tool. The clipping mask right here on my darks,吸取黑色,油漆桶工具,在阴影出做剪切板。 take my paint bucket black look, and then I use my white and whatever I draw, and white will turn the item darker. 白色总是会让暗的更暗。So now I go to my atmosphere. Do you remember when we did this? Well, we didn't do this for nothing. I promise. 

P21 - 10:25不会做无用功。 

I go in here. I control select the black. Is it like that control? Select the black. And then when I go into my clipping mask layer here, 来到剪切蒙版图层,绘制成黑色。I just paint in my darks. Like that. You see that a real piece is starting to come through. Now I'm gonna check my black and white values very quickly. 

P21 - 10:55检查黑白灰色。 

And you can see that red, his arm is completely fading into the background. That means my mountains aren't light enough. 小红帽胳膊融入暗夜,说明山不够亮。So I'm gonna go into the back of my mountains right here. And I'm going to look to lighten them very simple. And because mountains and atmospheric perspective, the further they go back, the more that they become the color of the sky.因为山和大气层的角度,越是远山和天际,越是镀上余晖。 So I'm going to add a little bit of blue to them. Now I bet you're looking at me and you're going like, Airi this is still kind of an ugly piece. Like what in the world is happening here? It's okay. Don't worry.  

P21 - 11:32如何进一步完善? 

Now is the part where you have to go in a new noodle around. You fix things and you draw things. This is the part that you basically decide for yourself how finished you want a piece. This is a very solid beginning for your color piece. 修修改改这是初学者打基础的必经之路。Essentially what we've been doing so far throughout all of this is to get to this point where we know what direction we need to go. 主要是明确整个工作流。Now that we basically have a backbone of a piece, we know our middle ground and foreground that we can have a reference. 现在有草图 前景 中景 背景和参考图,We have a reference to go back to always. And we have a general color idea. And we also have our color reference right here. 有参考的颜色。我们在所有上面绘制。Now I'm going to go in and paint on Top of all of this, but we're gonna do it in a smart way. We're not going to just do a new layer and paint all over the place. That’s bad decision making.  

P21 - 12:27不是新建图层重新绘制。 

Instead, I'm going to so remember how I separate everything out, right? All of my layers like that. 还记得我们所有图层都是独立出来的吗?I'm just going to duplicate this again. And I'm going to emerge everything that I had so far, except for my sky. My sky is the only thing that I'm keeping.天空是我唯一保留的。其它元素可以融合。 I'm gonna merge everything. So this is my shadows. This is my lights. And this is my original first image. And I'm gonna go like this, merge layers just like that. 光与影的合并同类项。So now I have this entire truck, but I still have my original pieces that I can still take and pick from just like that. 但是原始图层也是保留的。Literally what I do. this is a little bit tedious it's like my mountains. Go back to my image here, which is the colored version by control j. 回到山的图层,Ctrl+J进行上色。 

P21 - 13:17一片山。 

And then I have a piece of the mountain right there. See piece of the mountain, I’ll go to name it. And I do this for every single piece of the painting. You can literally just delete the one on the bottom. I'm gonna keep my original picture stuff. Is that I'm gonna keep this just in case I ever need it. 但是保留最原始的图层,可能会需要。But I most likely won’t need it from here and whatever. Right now, all I need it’s just this stuff right here. You'll see that with this method, I get these little prickly line.这有带刺不平滑线。 Mine is white borders. But don't worry about that because now you're gonna be painting on Top of it. Think of it as encouragement for you to actually go in and you paint it. All right. With that being said, let's get to it. Let's paint this baby. Hey, hey!
