10 very common English Question （由于个人书写的习惯，所以笔记中很多可以缩写的地方，都是没有进行缩写，比如how‘s it going，我会写成 how is it going)

1. How did you sleep? It is nice way to start conversation in the morning, which helps you to have a knowledge of what kinds of moods are they in before talking. place: at home between family members answers: (good) I slept great. (bad) I am a little grouchy right now because I did not sleep very well at all.
2. Have you seen my …(like car keys, phone)? It is different from the question-where is my ..., because it almost implies that the other people are supposed to know where they are when you use "have you seen my ...".
3. Are you running late? Basically, it has the same meaning as are you starting to become late, are you spending too much preparing before, or are you now going to be late for work. place: at home
4. When/what time do you think you will be home? When you are curious about when someone geting home, you can ask this question. Place: before leaving home, of course, it could be flexibly applied in other conversations or places, you can ask your tutor " when do you think you will be at office".
5. How is it going? It is a common phrase at work when you greet your colleagues or managers.
6. Can you give me a hand with something? In English, give somebody a hand means help somebody. Moreover when you see someone in need, you can say, can I give you a hand with that?
7. Do you have a miniute? That means they want to talk to you?
8. How is your day going? Or how is your day going so far? This is just a really polite way to begin conversation with colleagues at lunch. As Bob said, "I works with really awesome, nice people, so we really enjoy talking about each other's day as we eat lunch together.
9. How was your day? After school/work, you can greet your partner/family with "how was your day", and he/she generally explains a litle bit about how his/her day went-what happened at school/ at work.
