01 - Unveiling the Depths: A Journal of Id Recoding

From the moment I opened this book's pages wide, I sought 

To confront and chronicle the essence of my being. 

To gaze directly at my id's turbulent tide, 

Yearning for submission, yet desiring dominance, 

In the embrace of a force more potent, I'd confide. 

But alas, the super-ego warned me in somber cadence, 

"Once you traverse that realm, you'll lose yourself, my friend." 

I found myself at a crossroads of persistence and forbearance, 

Thus, a compromise I made, a path to both bend and mend. 

Now, my ego takes the lead, steering my existence's dance, 

Embracing the present, and charting a course for my dreams to transcend.

After the poet's introspective journey, I eagerly opened the first book in my booklist 

- 'My ID booklist - 01 - Sexual Outsiders: Understanding BDSM Sexualities and Communities' by Richard Sprott.
