well this topic is something interesting that reminds me of the spring festival , which is a traditional celebration in my country that I enjoy .

what I am talking about is an old time festival that has endured thousands of years throughout Chinese history , it marks the end of a past year and a brand new beginning of a Chinese lunar year .

there are a range of things to be done to celebrate this festival , usually a grand dinner party gets held for the entire family to dine together , children would love to touch off firecrackers which is tons of fun , what's more giving and receiving lucky money is something auspicious when greeting each other .

as for who to celebrate the spring festival with , well it is generally my parents who are with me during the whole time , in addition we’d pay a visit to relatives say aunts and uncles for the sake of extending best wishes for the approaching new year .

speaking of the reasons why I enjoy this celebration , you know what

firstly ,

red packet has a role to play in making me a fan of it , actually it is an ancient Chinese convention that has been passed down though thousands of years , meanwhile special meanings are involved in each and every cent we get from or give others , for instance ,.....

secondly ,

it creates a priceless opportunity to encounter loved ones who are long lost , truth be told a number of my cousins study overseas and we hardly ever meet each other , however during the spring festival , they’ll definitely get back home for a reunion , for example ,....
