DE GEA PRAISES TEAM-MATES AFTER EARNING GOLDEN GLOVE

Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea believes the Reds have had a ‘solid’ season, especially at the back.

A clean sheet in Saturday’s 1-0 win over Bournemouth made it shutout number 17 of the campaign, earning the Spaniard his second-ever Golden Glove accolade in the Premier League.

Talking to MUTV at full-time, David was quick to acknowledge his team-mates for contributing to his award over the duration of the season.

“Myself and the team did really well [this term],” he began. “Especially in the defensive side, I think we’ve been really solid the whole season.”
