China's National Press and Publication Administration has issued a notice on preventing minors from becoming addicted to online games.

国家新闻出版署发布《关于防止未成年人沉迷网络游戏的通知》。

《通知》强调严格落实网络游戏提供商（online game providers）的主体责任，依法履行政府监管职责，推动社会各界协同治理、有效参与，形成政府、企业、社会（social forces）共管共治（jointly manage and govern the issue）。

《通知》要求严格实名注册，所有网络游戏用户（online game users）均需使用有效身份信息（identification information）方可进行游戏账号注册（register），同时严格控制未成年人（minors）使用网络游戏（access online games）时段时长。

《通知》规定网络游戏企业不得为未满8周岁的用户（users under the age of eight）提供游戏付费服务（paid online game services），同时限制8周岁以上未成年人用户每日和每月（on a daily and monthly basis）的充值费用（the amount of money pay for online game services）。
