Actually, I don’t watch TV or TV programs at all. Of course I have a TV in the living room, but I don’t pay for cable. I think my family hasn’t been paying for cable for (I don’t know) 6 to 7 years. The TV we have is a smart TV. We use it as a screen. So what I do is that I would play something on my phone, then I mirror it on the TV in the living room. I guess this is actually very common in China, because nowadays a lot of phones have this function now and it costs less than the cable bill.
