第十二节 名 词 动 用

英汉语言中，名词和动词可以相互转化的现象比较普遍，汉语“发展经济”与

“社会的发展”， 前一个“发展”是动词，后一个“发展”是名词。在英语中，动词

“develop" 对应的名词 “development"。汉语中的名词转变为动词时，词形

没有变化，但英语中有两种情形，一种是词形发生变化，主要是词尾发生变化，

如上面提到的名词“development"；另一种情况是同汉语一样，词形无需变化。

如“study English", "fond of study"。这两种情况在中学阶段比较常见。

本节提到的英语名词动用，在汉语中很少出现，因此给我们的英语学习带来了

难度。这样的名词动用现象在英语中有许多，在以后的词汇积累中还会逐步呈现。

1. Prices rocketed after the war. 战后物价飞涨。

2. You are tailed. 被跟踪了。
