Fmoc-peg4-nhs ester is a peg linker containing Fmoc protective amine and NHS ester. Hydrophilic peg spacers increase solubility in aqueous media. The Fmoc group can be deprotected under alkaline conditions to obtain a free amine, which can be used for further conjugation. NHS esters can be used to label primary amines (-nh2) of proteins with PEG, amine modified oligonucleotides and other amine containing molecules.
