皱眉：knit one's brows/knit one's eyebrows

If you knit your brows or knit your eyebrows, you frown because you are angry or worried. 皱眉 (表示恼怒、担忧)

They knitted their brows and started to grumble.

他们皱着眉头抱怨起来。

Billy's eyebrows knitted together in a little frown.

比利眉头微皱。（也可以说是“蹙眉”）

皱眉还有个书面化的表达：furrow

If someone furrows their brow or forehead or if it furrows, deep folds appear in it because the person is annoyed, unhappy, or confused. (使)(眉) 皱起; (使)(额) 蹙起

My bank manager furrowed his brow, fingered his calculator and finally pronounced 'Aha!'.

If you say that someone is jumping up and down, you mean they are very excited, happy, or angry about something. 非常激动; 欣喜若狂; 暴跳如雷

I don't think a lot of people will jump up and down and say 'thank heavens'..

我并不认为很多人会欣喜若狂地说“感谢上帝”。

Everybody still jumps up and down about being rid of tyrants.

大家都还在为摆脱了暴君的统治而激动不已。

穿行：thread one's way through/ thread through

If you thread your way through a group of people or things, or thread through it, you move through it carefully or slowly, changing direction frequently as you move. 穿行; 曲折穿过; 蜿蜒

Slowly she threaded her way back through the moving mass of bodies.

她从人流中慢慢地挤了回来。

...threading our way past little boats.

…我们在小船中间蜿蜒穿行。

We threaded through a network of back streets.

我们在蜘蛛网似的偏僻街道中七拐八拐地穿行。

thread作动词有“穿针”之义。如果人作主语就引申为“穿行”。

夸夸其谈:spouts something

[disapproval ]If you say that a person spouts something, you disapprove of them because they say something which you do not agree with or which you think they do not honestly feel. 喋喋不休地说; 夸夸其谈

He used his column to spout ill-informed criticism of the Scots rugby team.

他根本不了解苏格兰橄榄球队，却在自己的专栏上对其大加抨击。

You're the kind of person who affiliates himself with the kind of crap they spout.

你这种人就会去附和他们的那些废话。

spout原义是“水龙头的那个嘴”。一个人喋喋不休的说，就像水龙头开着，水哗哗的流一样。

Spout forth and spout off mean the same as spout.

若隐若现的光：glow

A glow is a dull, steady light, for example the light produced by a fire when there are no flames. 微弱稳定的光; 暗淡的光

...the cigarette's red glow.

The rising sun casts a golden glow over the fields.

冉冉升起的太阳在田野中洒下金色的阳光。

glow作名词还有“脸上的红光，皮肤红润”的意思。有些护肤品化妆品有皮肤提亮的效果，广告词就用的Glow。

匆匆带走:whisk someone or something somewhere

If you whisk someone or something somewhere, you take them or move them there quickly. 迅速送走; 匆匆带走

He whisked her across the dance floor.

他带着她飞快地穿过舞池。

I was whisked away in a police car.

我被一辆警车匆匆带走了。

whisk本义“打蛋器”“搅拌（鸡蛋、奶油等）”。打蛋器运作很快，故引申有快速匆匆之意。

(泪水) 刺痛 (眼睛):tears prick your eyes

If tears prick your eyes, you feel as if you are about to cry. (泪水) 刺痛 (眼睛)

Davydd felt tears prick his eyes.

大卫德觉得眼泪就要流出来了。

刺痛感:feel a prick

A prick is a small, sharp pain that you get when something pricks you. 刺痛感

At the same time she felt a prick on her neck.

同时，她觉得脖子上一阵刺痛。
