Well, I think I have a technique. I have a mnemonic technique. I would associate the names with meanings. For example, there is a famous Chinese actor called Li Xian. Li is a common Chinese family name and Xian actually means “now”, so for me LiXian is“ it’s now or never”. Another example is a musician called Mao Buyi, Mao is hairy and Buyi means not easy. So for me, he is very hairy and that’s not easy.
