Use Direct Path Selection Tools
用直接选择工具
选择工具包含?钢笔工具 直接选择工具 路径选择工具。路径选择工具是黑箭头标识的,目标展示给你路径。钢笔工具热键P,星号提示创建新路径。选择路径如果需要进一步编辑,先选中,选择工具才能发挥作用。选择部分区域即可,不需要选择全部。黑色箭头代表非建设路径的工作状态,不管你点击多少次字幕框选工具,会得到整个路径,如果去选择,点击回车,注意路径面板,提示没有被选择的图层路径了。there're essential components when deal with pen tool. direct selection tool, path selection tool. the path selection tool is the black arrow, its only purpose is to show your path. if we grab pen tool. you'll notice asterisk symbol next to it, this means we're about to create new path. i want to further dit existing one. that's why i select it. that's where path selection tool comes into play. just cover a tiny bit is enough. that's because this tool doesn't target individual anchor points.

Quick Mask Mode

快速选择工具很容易应用,用Alt移除部分误选进来的。但是套索多边形或钢笔工具是更好的选择。用快速选择工具练习,比如目标去除天空,也是训练选择技巧的帮助。楼层占据80%照片,如果选择天空,活动区域更小,更困难,未必适合快速选择工具。even though the quick selection tool is easy to use, it wasn't best tool for job. i could have used Alt to remove parts of sky if they've been selected by mistake, but polygonal lasso po pen tool would have been much better options. further more, the whole exerciese is based around a goal, to show you quick mask mode, if that want's case tand i wanted to get rid of sky, i would have have approached it the other way around. instead of selecting building, which is what 80% of photo, i would have selected sky, so my point is to always work smarter, not harder even though you maybe comfortable with some tools, they may not be appropriate for task at hand.

Select A Color in Photo

保存下载AXT文件,可以打开已经保存在本地的AXT文件,如果看到蚂蚁行军的选区,这就是选择工具的效果。加入曲线调节图层,可以把中间点拖拽到下面,可以增强黑色区域,因为我选区是活跃的,可以看到蒙版仅仅影响选区内的花,非选区的不影响。what's great is that we can save our work and we can come back to it another time. so let me click load this will prompt you to select a dot AXT file. i double click it. now i have it available in PS. once you see marching ants, you can see it did a great job far better than quick selection tool could offer. add curves adjustment layer from the bottom of my layer's panel. now i'll drag this middle point downwards. so i can intensity my darker regions. because i had a selection active, you can see my mask reflect the time only affecting my pink flowers.

我们开始清理掉多余的像素,因为我们可持续修复的工作,所以球被放在透明背景里。剪切并非完美。因为我们用的图层蒙版,可以进一步剪切。现在可补救性的选择绘制靠近球体边缘,这不会太迅速,也不会得到太理想的结果。但是足以证明我的建议值得一试。我建议用钢笔工具,从左侧开始勾选,通过三笔来勾选球体表面,选择附近中间部位,有了帮助定位的橡胶体。开始朝着右侧拖拽,得到完美曲线,如果移除一小段橡胶不用担心,不影响整个设计。点击右侧区域,取决于如何放置前面点,用Contrl进一步调整,用Ctrl Z重新设计路线。现在右键选择羽化直径设为0像素,确保保持抗曲折复选框勾选,该情况是需要保持平滑的。黑色前景刷子移除掉不想要的点。we're doing that instead of deleting all these pixels because we want to work non destructively. here's football on transparent background. not quite a perfect cut out. but because we're using a layer mask, we can further work on it. now if you want the alternative, grab a black brush, zoom in and startign painting, go over each area and slowly get closer to bulls edge, this won't be fast, nor will it give you a great result, but it's foolproof, i suggest you do it my way. now we've avoided the pen tool, but here's the best option for the job, let's start from the left side, i want to get this entire bottom half with just three clicks. this will ensure a perfect smooth surface, i'll click on its left edge. next, i'll go somewhere near its middle point here, and the great thing it is that we have this rubber part that helps me position my click correctly. i'll drag a lot towards the right side, so i can get a nice curve, don't worry if you remove a smart part of it, as long as it's just a few pixels this won't affect our fine design. let's click again on the right side, depending on how well you placed your previousl point, you may need to use control to further adjust it. in case it's not going well at all. use Ctrl Z and retrace your steps. now i'll circle back around with a few quick clicks their position doesn't mater, because it won't impact my selection. now right click and choose make selection leave the feather radius set zero pixels. but make sure you have anti alias check, in these cases it's much needed. now paint with a black brush to remove all unwanted bits.

开始创建阴影,避免球体像是漂浮在空气中,需要展示出阴影深度,点击拖拽阴影层。目前预设阴影位置球体下方,大小2/3大小,不偏不倚。点击形状转化成智能对象,选择 模糊 高斯模糊,设置50像素模糊。热键G创建真实的梯度工具,选择放射梯度,按住shift透明转化,如果阴影太小显得不够平滑,如果阴影偏移并不理想,重复按住直到看起来阴影不偏不倚。曲线调节,曲线拖拽到中间,确保刷子50%硬度,很大刷子,移除球体周边没必要效果。let's create a shadow, so it won't seem like it's floating in space, grab ellipse tool from tool bar, even though we haven't covered it in depth so far, click and drag to create a shape like this. so fairly squish at about 2/3 of the footballs length, position it underneath the ball and center horizontally, this is all set click your shape and convert it to a smart object. this is so we can adjust upcomging filter apply a blur, specifically a gaussian blur, use the top menu for that, from the window, put in a value of about 50 pixiels hit okay. we're going to get the gradient ool, wich has the hotkey G. hit D to restore your default background foreground color. you're looking for this preview here, the gradient top has multiple ways of working we want a radial gradient. you're lookign for a smooth transition on the side of the shadow, if you don't hold shift, you won't drag in a perfectly straight line, you might end up with something uncentered shadow. if you swipe too little, you're going to end up with a tiny shadow that is not smooth. if you don't get it right swipe again and you'll reset your gradient, so repeat your swipe until you end up with somehting that looks like that.it's darken the corners of canvas. and adjustment there at the top of layer stack, choose curves from properties panel. drag this one down somewhere near the middle, this darken everything. let's say hardness somewhere around 50% and will remove the effect on and around the ball. make sure you have a huge brush, i'm going for something well over 2000. click on ball and brush in circular pattern.

Select And Mask Hair

该图像移除背景替换成维持模特头发细节。选择快速选择选中女模特。可以看到空中凌乱的头发吐出来,目标移除背景。保留空中发丝,用PS新功能选择和遮蔽,旧版本叫做修复边缘。在选项区可以找到,点击任意选择工具,可以调取选项栏的按钮。用Alt Ctrl R 热键组合工作区变了,左侧少数5个工作图标,从上到下依次是,第一,快速选择工具,可以抓取局部聚焦点;第二,调节边缘刷子,正常刷子;第三,套索工具和磁性工具;第四,抓手;第五,放大缩小工具。we'll take this image, remove its background and replace it with this one, all while maintaining the detail in model's hair. so i use quick selection tool to roughly select girl. apparently it did a great job. if you focus on hair you can see there're few strands left out, the goal is to get there back with minimal effort luckily, PS give us completely new workspace called select and mask, that helps us improve our selection, in previous releases of ps was called refine edges. if you don't have this button available in your options bar, grab any selection tool that creates selections will give you this feature. alternative you can use hotkey Alt Control R once i click it, my workspace changes here, on the left side, you see we only have few tools. if one of the more powerful ones in ps is quick selection tool. this is useful in case you forget to grab a spot or region. refine edge brush which will use in a second a normal brush. the lasso tool, magnetic tool, hand zoom tools.

当处理头发模糊时或类似材质,通过“智能直径”的开启,可以看到丢失其它细节。头发模糊的这不是我们要的结果。如果不确定你需要用的数据,面板顶部勾选“展示边缘”功能,通过开启,可以看到PS寻找的额外的头发,滑动“展示边缘”为零,可以看到很多。但是如果逐渐增加,可以看到头发边缘外头发范围捕获越来越多。“平滑+羽化”这两个设置不适合开启,应该避免清理头发,我们保留细节的,清理细节的两个功能无用武之地。所以不开启。when you're dealign with hair fur or any similar texture, by turning smart radius on. and we can see how we're gettign back some important details which would have otherwise lost. so you can see the difference after toggle smart radius on and off a few times. so without smart radius this body of hair becomes translucent that's less than ideal. if you're not sure what value you need to use, go to the top and check show edge freature, by enableing it, you can see the area that ps iwll look for extra hairs if the show edges zero. you would see anything.but as i slowly increased it, you can see how this region grows. smooth feather are two settings you should avoid when clearing with hair. they have no place here because we want to get all these fine details in our end result, whereas these two eliminate all extra fine parts.
