Restless Night

Waking up in the middle of night

Nothing but dark heaving into my sight

Trying to catch a faint band of light

Only to find I can’t hold on tight

In the world made of black and white

Wondering how to make it right

Hopping on a leaving flight

Without any reason to feel delight

Every word seems to be a slight 

Ought to Gather each piece of my might

Endeavoring to take this unwinnable fight
