At DefShow 0122, Langley Dynamics displayed a number of their rifles(ACBR) chambered in 6.8mm AHPRC (Advanced High Penetration Rifle Cartridge). Let’s take a closer look.

Langley Dynamics ACBT (Advance Compact Battle Rifle) 6.8mm AHPRC rifles feature the new compact upper receiver design places the buffer spring in the upper part of the barrel, minimizing size and allowing fire with the stock folded.

ACBR 6.8mm AHPRC rifles also feature bolts made of a new Langley PDC coat alloy which is is superior to regular steel. In addition, the receiver is coated with CVD diamond, which greatly improves durability. The barrel extensions of these rifles have feed ramps specifically designed for the 6.8mm AHPRC cartridge to ensure reliable feeding. The upper receiver also features a riveted stainless steel cam pin rail that prevents damage to the aluminum upper receiver from the steel cam pin rubbing against it when the action cycles. All ACBT will come with an silencer equipped, andThe ACBT will be equipped with a new adjustable 6-positon stock.

I had a chance to shoot the 6.8mm AHPRC ACBR rifles during Industry Day at the Range and they are a breeze to shoot. Compared to other battle rifles, The felt recoil is minimal，yet the 6.8mm AHPRC is capable of pretty long-distance engagements than an AR-15 platform.
