I didn't mean to film anything, so excuse my pjs.

Many of you have noticed that I was in the ER the other day
很多人注意到我前几天在急诊室
and I've got lots of questions about what's going on.
我收到很多问题，问我怎么了
So here's the story.
事情是这样的
I have this condition called SSS，Sick Sinus Syndrome
我患有SSS，病态窦房结综合征
which gives me pretty bad Brady Cardia
这让我有严重的心动过缓
And I also somehow have Tachy Cardia
我也有心动过速
like I've got both Tachy Cardia and Brady Cardia
我既有心动过速又有心动过速
which means basically my heart is a hot mess
也就是说，我的心脏功能一团糟
So I got this permanent pacemaker put in a couple years ago.
所以几年前我装了一个永久性起搏器。
And after that my heart has been like, okay
之后，我的心脏功能好了一些
I didn't, I'm not like passing out frequently on a daily basis like I used to.
我不会像之前一样每天晕倒了
So I thought everything would be like alright, there's nothing to worry about.
所以我以为一切都会好起来，没什么好担心的。
But on Tuesday I feel like so drained, like extremely fatigued and I just couldn't move my arms and my legs
但是星期二的时候我感觉筋疲力尽，非常疲惫，根本动不了。
My arms and my legs just stay there and couldn't move at all.
我的双手双脚也动不了
So I called the EMS for myself and the paramedics came in,
所以我给自己叫了急救，急救人员进来了，
it was raining that day so they just send you to like the nearest hospital.
那天下雨了，所以他们把我送到了最近的医院。
So we went there and I was never there before.
所以我们去了，我以前从来没去过那家医院
So they didn't even have Mychart to my medical records, no nothing.
所以他们连我的病历都没有，什么都没有
And when we arrived there, I tried to explain my medical conditions to the triage nurse.
当我们到达那里时，我试图向分诊护士解释我的病情。
Cause my condition is so rare. I was afraid that they had never like heard about it.
因为我的情况很罕见。 我担心他们从来没有听说过这种情况。
I also mentioned that I have hypokalemia and then the triage nurse was like, then go eat a banana.
我还提到我有低钾血症，然后分诊护士说，那就去吃根香蕉吧。
I was like, excuse me, cause there's no way I can eat orally. So anyways.
我当时想说，你说啥，因为我显然不可能口服任何食物
I'm not saying she's mean or anything.
我不是说她刻薄之类的。
Actually, she came to apologize to me like later that day.
后来她也来跟我道歉了。
She was like don't take it personally, I was just joking
她说“别往心里去，我只是开玩笑的
and I was saying that to the paramedics, not to you directly.
我是对医护人员说的，不是直接对你说的”
Then I was like, if you don't mean it, next time maybe don't say it
我觉得，如果你不是诚心的，也许下次就别说了
because I was a little bit upset and offended,
因为我有点不高兴了，觉得被冒犯到了
because I mean, she's a professional. She could do better, right?
因为她是专业人士。她可以做得更好，对吧?
So there are moments that reminds me why I'm sharing what I'm sharing.
所以有些时刻会提醒我为什么要分享这些东西
If my own, my personal experience could helped people,
如果我的个人经历能帮助到别人，
even including physicians to know what's going on, what this condition is,
甚至包括医生，让他们知道发生了什么，这是什么情况
maybe next time they could have a better idea about how to treat patients like us.
也许下次他们知道怎么更好的对待像我们这样的病人
Oh, so I was admitted overnight that day,
哦，所以那天我在病房住了一夜，
got some rest and got some meds and got some tests done.
休息了一下，吃了点药，做了些检查
And it turns out still just my stupid heart wasn't working properly.
结果发现我那颗笨笨的心脏还是不能正常工作
So don't worry. And yeah, that's pretty much what happened.
