An analytic model of the radial profiles of sea level pressure and winds in a hurricane is prerented presented.The equations contain two parameters which may be eprically empirically esimated  obtain from observations in a hurricane or determined climatologically to define a standard hurricane;defined from catterllogy a standard profile; examples are given. The model is generally shown to be generally superior surpiro to two other widely used models, and is considerded to be a valuable aid in it would aid oprational forcasting,case studies and engineering work.
