名词所有格

名词所有格表示名词之间的所有关系，有三种形式：'s所有格、of所有格和双重所有格。

一、's所有格

1. 's所有格大多数用于有生命的名词。

   My brother's birthday is January 2nd.

2. 单数名词所有格一般在名词后加's构成。

   Ken's favorite subject is math.

3. 复数名词的所有格，词尾为s时只加',词尾没有s的加's。

   September 10th is Teachers' Day.

4. 某物为“两人（或几人）共有”时，在最后一个名词的词尾加所有格符号，即“A and B's”;某物为“两人（或几人）分别拥有”时，在每个名词的词尾加所有格符号，即“A's and B's”。

   Alice is Mike and Amy's mother.

   Tim's and Peter's brothers both work in the same hospital.

5. “名词+'s”所有格也用于少数表无生命事物的名词，主要用于表示时间、距离、国家、城镇、天体等的名词。

   Most chlidren need eight hours' sleep each night.

二、of所有格

1. 表示无生命事物的名词，前面加of介词短语表示所有关系。

   What's the name of your favorite book?

2. 有时也可用于表示有生命事物的名词。

   One day I heard the sound of children playing in the park.

三、双重所有格

1. 双重所有格即“of+名词所有格's”或“of+名词性物主代词”。of前面的名词被a/an,any,some,several,no,few,another,all,many等表数量的词修饰时，表“某整体中的一部分”，强调部分与整体的关系。

   I met a friend of my father's in the street yesterday.

2. 被修饰的名词前有指示代词this,that,these,those时，表示对该名词的限定或表示赞扬、厌恶等感情色彩。

   This friend of my father's is very kind.(表感情)

   Where did you buy these pens of yours?(表限定)

提示：“of+名词所有格”与“of+名词”的区别：

1. “of+名词所有格”表示所属关系，用于表示一个名词所属于另一个名词。

This is a photo of my sister's.（照片内容无法知晓，只是姐姐拥有的照片中的一张）

2. “of+名词”表示一种关系或特征，用于描述或限定一个名词。

This is a photo of my sister.(照片内容是我姐姐本人)
