如何区分 prevalent, common, popular ？

"Prevalent", "common" 和 "popular" 这三个词在一定程度上都表达的是“常见”或“普遍”的概念，然而，它们在不同的语境下具有略有区别的含义。

"Common" 指的是某种事物经常被看到或者经常发生，无论在任何地方或者时间。"Common" 广泛应用于各种语境和情境。

"Popular" 则略有不同，它表示某人或某事受到许多人的欢迎和喜爱。与"prevalent"和"common"不同的是，"popular"含有一种主观的，情感上的理解。 

例句：Harry Potter books are very popular among children and adults alike. 

所以，尽管在某种程度上这三个词都可以表示“普遍”的意思，但在不同的语境和情境中，还是需要根据具体情况选择合适的词汇来表达。
