Online learning is an important way to study recently. As we all know, with the rapid development of our society, an increasing number of people spend much time on the internet, as it does in the case of online learning which gives rise to a heated debate among students.

On the one hand, learning online does provide students with much convenience and more approaches to accessing to excellent studying materials. And students can arrange their time freely, without any space limitation. However, on the other hand, we cannot ignore the fact that if it takes students’ more time to study online, it will have side influences on their health, especially their eyesight. What’s more, it is possible for students to take online learning as an excuse to play online games, which always leads to poor academic performance.

Faced with the tough situation, I cling to a belief that no matter what effects it has, one thing is certain: it is the use that determines its value. Only when we take advantage of its fruits and limit its defects can we become smart online learners.

今年的高考英语乙卷书面表达素材“Be smart online learners”确实在意料之中，随着互联网和5G在我国的全面发展，又借势疫情展示其强大的推广能力，使其成为当下最热的“学习方式”。作为高考层次的命题，是一定要保证“形式和内容”的高度统一，所以网络学习的利弊这一话题既保证了热度，又与考生息息相关。
