1、爱上量子物理

Outside of skiing I am a huge nerd. I am currently a freshman in college, and I'm taking a lot of classes that are really interesting to me. One of them is quantum physics.

除了赛场滑雪，我就是个超级书呆子。我现在是大学一年级的学生，我选了很多对我来说很有趣的课。其中之一是量子物理学。

I really like to learn and to stretch my mind. That's what I really love about quantum physics, is that it's very conceptual and it makes the nature of reality. And that's very fascinating to me because, in my own way when I'm skiing, I guess I'm bending the laws of what's possible in the first place. So achieving the impossible has always been something that is has drawn me in. And so that's kind of where I see the parallel between quantum physics and skiing. 

我真的很喜欢通过学习来拓展我的思维。这就是我真正喜欢量子物理学的地方，因为这个科目非常的抽象，会令你想思考现实的本质。这对我来说非常有吸引力，因为当我滑雪时，我从一开始就在朝着突破自然规律的方向前进。因此，实现不可能的事情一直吸引着我。这就是我在量子物理学和滑雪中找到的共同点。

2、平衡工作学习

I've been a full-time student my whole life. But going back to being a full-time student after taking two years to be a professional skier is definitely a new step for me, so I guess just adjusting to working three full-time jobs always 

year-round between fashion, school and skiing……

我一直是全日制学生。但是，在做了两年专业滑雪运动员后，重拾全日制学生的生活，对我来说绝对是全新的一步，我全年的时间安排，围绕着时尚、学业和滑雪……这三个全职生活角色，不停调整。

I think being in college right now is giving me a lot of perspective just kind of going back into the real world, and that has just been so much fun. So I guess just enjoying myself, taking it one step at a time. It sounds a little boring, but I guess this is true.

我认为现在在大学里给了我很多视角，更接近真实的世界，这非常有趣。所以我想我在享受这一切，一步一个脚印去适应新的状况。这听起来有点无聊，但真实生活就是这样的。

I’ve always been a huge proponent of living a balanced lifestyle, so now I am really channeling my creativity and my self-expression through skiing, through fashion, through academics.

作为一个坚定的生活平衡论实践者，我力求通过滑雪、时尚和学业，来体现我的创造力，并进行真实的自我表达。

3、妈妈是榜样

My mom really inspired me growing up, and I guess it was more her capacity to make things happen that inspired me in the sense that everybody can say that they have a lofty goal or a seemingly unreachable ambition.

我妈妈绝对是我成长路上上最好的榜样，我想最令人佩服的是她强大的执行力。虽然每个人都可以高谈阔论自己的远大理想。

But being able to put your head down and create an actual  action plan and being able to work towards it each and every day is 90per cent of the actual battle. 

但脚踏实地地制定出可行的计划，并且日复一日毫不间断的付诸实践，这才是整场战斗的90%。

So I think that her capacity to do that has always been really inspiring to me and something that I carry with me to this day.

正是她这种超强的执行力，不停激励着我，陪伴着我，直到今天。

学习和体育相通

I think that just having an educational background and being able to apply that knowledge to anything, learning how you learn, learning how to perform under pressure, learning about how your mind works.

我认为良好的教育可以让你把自己的知识应用于各个方面，找到属于自己的学习方法，如何在压力下发挥，掌握自己思维意识的运作原理。

I think these are all widely applicable skills, no matter what avenue you choose to apply it in. So, yeah, I think that there are many cross references and ways in which learning and sport are interconnected. 

我认为这些都是广泛适用的技能，无论你选择哪种途径应用它。所以，是的，我认为学习和体育的内在联系很深，之间有很多可以相互借鉴的方法。
