　　Julianne Natalie Stingray, 或简称为 "Jill"，是 VA-11 Hall-A 的酒保，同时也是玩家所扮演的角色。

　　Jill拥有一半的法国血统，上过大学。有吸烟的嗜好，同时也是一名双性恋。因借助 B.T.C 配给的肝脏植入物，她能喝很多啤酒也不至于烂醉如泥。

　　Jill有一只名为 Fore 的猫猫，她每次在家时都会和它“说话”。Jill隐约回忆起曾经见过有人像 Anna Graem 那样如同出bug一样闪烁像素点，但她不记得在何时何地发生过。

外表————
　　Jill 有一头紫黑的头发，当玩家有机会看到她的正脸时，会发现她总摆出一幅漠不关心的表情。

　　Jill 是贫乳，总是穿着 VA-11 Hall-A酒吧的制服（除了标题界面和购物时，在这些场合可以看到到她穿着羽绒皮衣而非休闲装，在家中她则穿着绿色毛衣，但在 Dana 拜访后，她会改穿灰红条纹的毛衣）。

性格————
　　作为一名调酒师，Jill 在工作时总是尽她所能地调制饮料，与顾客谈笑风生，即使面对最恼人的顾客也总是保持和蔼可亲的态度。不过嘛，一旦有人当面叫她 "Julianne"时 ，Jill 就会变得非常非常生气。　

　　她总是以“调制饮料，改变人生”（Time to mix drinks and change lives.）作为一天工作的开场白，接着会在点唱机挑选音乐播放。

　　有人说（ps：Kim说的） Jill 试图扮演一个 “很酷的调酒师”，但她总纠正其并没有刻意去维持形象，只是在做自己罢了。尽管 Jill 大多时候对待顾客十分上心，但偶尔嘛，她也会实在绷不住了爆发出阵阵笑声——更何况那仅仅是一些略显孩子气的笑话～

　　Jill同样不会表露自己对某件事/某个人的关心，就比如在自己公寓时，因为在 Dana 面前假装 Fore 会说话（腹语ＥＸ）而变得（社死般）紧张慌乱一样。

　　

　　显然，Jill在很多方面都和她的祖父很像。

　　Jill曾承认过一件事——在大学时的自己表现得呆头呆脑，还非常容易被激怒（至于当上酒保之后的现在嘛，或许已经更为波澜不佛惊系了），平日里总处于“焦虑不安”的状态。

　　
　　Jill 不常外出，而在她休息日的大部分时间里则会化身家里蹲，窝在被炉里陪着她的宠物猫Fore——或是直接待在酒吧。

　　Jill 在家时，她会在自己的手机上（或是平板电脑？）浏览 Danger/u/ 和《The Augmented Eye》。随着游戏剧情推进， *Kira* Miki 的博客和 Nano Camo app也会添加到手机上。（玩家还可以在手机上听听音乐，以及存读档。）

　　最后提一嘴，Jill的内心其实天真又闷骚，总能被某些话戳中自个儿那幼稚的笑点——比方说有哪位点了杯咸猪手（Bad Touch）～

经历————
　　Jill 的父母在她六岁时和平离婚。她的母亲是一位小提琴家，常年在外与交响乐队同行一起演奏。因此，Jill童年的大部分时间都与父亲、舅舅和爷爷在一起。当Jill还是个孩子的时候，她是《超模勇士朱莉安》 （Model Warrior Julianne） 的狂热粉丝，部分原因是她和主角同名。

　　Jill 还经常打扮的和主角一样，假装自己就是 Julianne。然而，当 Jill 进入中学后，她对这个节目的热爱却成为了同学们的笑柄，十几岁的熊孩子们常常在她背后哼着主题曲来取笑 Jill。这直接导致了她非常反感别人提及自己的全名——尽管如此，Jill 坦言这一切并没有浇灭自己对于这部作品的热爱。

　　在中学时，Jill 开始打扮得一身漆黑并沉迷于研究神秘主义，甚至用“暗影大师69”（Shadowmaster69）这个昵称写了一篇关于神秘主义的博客。当然，这个博客成了Jill 的黑历史，她试了最大的努力去掩盖它，但还是被 Alma 给挖了出来。

　　在3年前，Jill 有一位叫 Lenore 的女朋友——她在大学时邂逅了实习教师Lenore，Lenore对Jill的学业照顾有加，二人渐渐酝酿了浓厚的情谊。当她俩意识到彼此情投意合之时，约会交往便顺理成章地拉开帷幕。Jill与Lenore生活在一起的那段美好时光对于Lenore的妹妹Gaby而言，Jill仿佛成为了如同姐姐（姐夫）般的又一位家人。

　　当Jill即将大学毕业之时，她忽然产生了诸多疑问与顾虑——自己所学多年的专业真的合适吗？自己在学业上敷衍了事、日复一日是不是在浪费时间？记忆中似乎只有学习学习学习和不停地钻研新课题，Jill根本无法感受到其中的乐趣，也根本想不起自己的大学生活还有什么可供茶余饭后的有趣谈资。在毕业典礼上，Jill需要做一次演讲，而就在念那份演讲稿的时候她差点恐慌症发作。Jill意识到自己一直是在敷衍了事，日复一日，从高中至今从未变过——“我有哪怕一丁点喜欢这份学业吗？这种质疑令我惊恐不已。”因此，整个典礼期间Jill只是傻站在那儿，丝毫感觉不到毕业的满足。　

　　就在Jill毕业几个月后，她收到了一份工作邀请函（offer），告知可以来一家大型研究机构上班。 Lenore对此自是欣喜若狂，并为她感到非常自豪——可Jill却犹豫了，她不清楚自己能在这份工作中做什么事业，接受这一提议或许并不是她希望追求的一种选择，于是便婉拒了这份offer。

　　然而，Lenore知晓此事后异常震惊，她后来也承认了，自己是因为得不到这样的事业发展机会而心生嫉妒过。也正因如此， Lenore在没有通知Jill的情况下擅自代替她接受了这份工作。事态急转直下，Jill对她自作主张的行为气不打一处来，两人大吵一架。Jill从 Lenore的家摔门而出，路上还打碎了一个花瓶。在那三年之后，两人就再也没有联系，也因此未能达成和平分手。（但考虑到她们未能见面，Jill称Lenore为她的前女友）

　　遗憾的是，Lenore后来于１２月１７日因局部性纳米机械排异去世——Jill也再无可能与她破镜重圆了。

　　在这之后，Jill 申请了调酒师执照(这一行也正是 Lenore所推荐过的)，成为了一名排忧解难的深夜酒保，陈年往事仿佛在 VA-11 Hall-A 的酒精中就此沉淀。

　Jill 做了一个和 Anna 有关的梦，她提醒 Jill 游戏要开始了，应该给玩家留下一个正面的第一印象。在 Jill 醒来之前，Anna 告诉她要检查一下刚收到的包裹。Jill 醒来后觉得刚才那只是做了个白日梦，但后来真的在门边发现一封信——————

　　·当 Alma 问 Jill 是否会法语时，Jill 回答道：“Mon aeroglisseur est plein d'anguilles”，意为“我的气垫船里到处都是鳗鱼”。这句引用了喜剧《蒙提·派森的飞行马戏团 》（Monty Python's Flying Circus.）S2E12的情节。——在剧中，一名匈牙利人去英国商店买烟，他不会说英语，只能通过手上的“匈-英语言手册”强行对话，但这本手册的语言翻译文不对题，闹出不少笑话。“我的气垫船里到处都是鳗鱼”原本想表达的意思是“我要买火柴”。

　　 ·Jill 的第一笔债务是续订一个名为“Shining Fingered”的VR瑟琴影片网站，其名字借鉴了动画《机动武斗传G高达》（機動武闘伝Gガンダム）中闪光高达的必杀技 Shining Finger。（ps：疑车无据）

　　·在第１３天的真心话大冒险中，Alma会透露道她黑进了Jill的手机（CaliCOMP牌）。CaliCOMP是全世界更新系统最频繁的系统。每周Alma都会更新她的CaliCOMP黑客程序并拿Jill作为小白鼠。她还每周都黑进Jill的手机并拍一张照（因为Jill她天天都拍）。如果Alma发现黑客程序少了每周一次的照片，她便会去调查搜寻失踪的图片到底去哪了。

　　·Jill 曾学过小提琴，但16岁之后就放弃了。

　　Julianne Natalie Stingray, or "Jill" as she is known, is the main protagonist and the bartender at VA-11 Hall-A.

　　Half-French. Avid smoker. Bisexual. Went to college. Drinks a lot of beer because of her implant that allows her to drink lots of beer and not get drunk. Has a cat named Fore, whom she talks to every time she's at home. She vaguely recalls having seen someone glitch out like how Anna Graem did in the past, but she doesn't remember when or where.

appearance——

　　Jill has dark purple hair, and on the occasions where her face is seen, she is often seen with an indifferent expression. Jill has a small bust and is almost always seen in her VA-11 Hall-A uniform, and on the few occasions where she is not (Such as the title screen and when visiting the shop), she can be seen wearing a leather coat over casual clothes. Another time she isn't in uniform is in her room where she wears a green sweater but after her visit with Dana, she wears a sweater with grey and red stripes.

Personality——

　　Jill always tries to give her best at work as a Bartender, talking with her clients and always being nice even with the most annoying people; however, she gets angry when somebody calls her "Julianne" in front of her. She always starts her job saying "Time to mix drinks and change lives" and choosing the songs that play at the Jukebox.

　　Some say Jill tries to play the "cool bartender" but she always says that she's just being herself and it's not an act. Even if Jill is serious most of the times with her clients, there are moments where she just bursts out laughing, usually with childish jokes. She also tends to hide when she cares about something/someone, as shown when she is flustered when she starts speaking for Fore in front of Dana when they were at Jill's apartment.

　　apparently, she resembles her grandfather in more ways than one.

　　In college, she admits that she was too thick-headed and got riled up easily (to a lesser extent now - when she's working as a bartender). Being stressed was her default state.

　　Jill doesn't go out much, as she spends most of her time at home under the kotatsu with her pet cat Fore, or at the Bar. While at home, Jill browses  Danger/u/, and the Augmented Eye on her phone (tablet?), and later on in the game; *Kira* Miki's blog and the Nano Camo app that she added on her phone (player can also change music, and load/save files on Jill's phone).

　　In the end, she has a calm childish nature, laughing at the most childish of jokes such as people asking for the drink Bad Touch.

Biography——

　　Jill's parents got divorced amicably when she was six. Her mother was a violinist who toured with an orchestra, and consequently spent most of her childhood with her dad, her uncle, and her grandfather. When she was a kid Jill was a huge fan of magical girl series Model Warrior Julianne, in part because she shared a first name with the main character.

　　Often she would dress up and pretend to be the main character, however when she entered middle school she was constantly teased about her love of the show with classmates often humming the theme song at her behind her back. This lead directly to her displeasure at being referred to by her full first name, although she says that it hasn't diminished her love of the show any.

　　While in middle school Jill started wearing all black and got into occultism, even going so far as to write a blog about it under the username "Shadowmaster69." This blog would become an old shame for her later in life and she would do her best to hide it, although Alma manages to track it down.

　　When she was in school, she would always get high grades despite not putting a lot of effort in. However, once college happened she had to study really hard to get good grades.

　　Three years ago, Jill had a girlfriend named Lenore. Jill met Lenore at college and helped her during her studies and bonded as friends. When they realised that they both liked each other, they started going out. They both loved each other, and during the time Jill spent with Lenore, Jill became a sister-like figure to Lenore's younger sister, Gaby.

　　In the moments before she graduated, Jill had a lot of doubts about whether or not the degree she studied for years was right for her and if she wasted her time doing it. A couple of months after Jill graduated, she received an offer to start working at a big research facility. Lenore was ecstatic, and really proud of her, but Jill hesitated and later, rejected the offer because she didn't know what do from there, but taking that offer was not an option she wished to pursue. Lenore freaked out at this, later confessing that she was jealous of Jill since she never got such an opportunity. Things devolved pretty quickly after that, as Lenore had accepted the job offer on Jill's behalf without letting Jill know beforehand. Jill was furious with her upon hearing this, and with both of them saying one too many unpleasant things, Jill stormed out of Lenore's house, breaking a vase in the process. They haven't spoken since, and thus, they haven't officially broken up (but considering the time they haven't seen each other, Jill calls Lenore her ex-girlfriend). It should be noted that Lenore died from Nanomachine Rejection, so it's impossible for Jill and Lenore to make up.

　　Afterward the fight, Jill applied for a bartender license (which was previously encouraged by Lenore) and wound up working at VA-11 Hall-A.

Plot——

　　Day 1

　Jill has a dream of Anna who explains the game's about to start and Jill needs to make a good first impression for the player. Before she wakes up, Anna tells Jill she should check the parcel she just got. When Jill wakes up she dismisses the encounter as just a dream but finds a parcel near her door.

Trivia——

• At one point Alma asks Jill if she can speak French. To this she responds with "Mon aeroglisseur est plein d'anguilles," which translates to "My hovercraft is full of eels." This is a reference to a sketch from Monty Python's Flying Circus.

• When Alma demands Jill to greet her properly when entering the bar, she recites a slightly altered version of the poem The Raven from Edgar Alan Poe.

• This also foreshadows Lenore's death, as the narrator of the poem lost his wife of the same name.

• During a conversation with Gillian, Jill will tell him that "even if there's no God or Buddha, you can always trust the Boss". This is a reference to a famous quote from Taki from the manga Kamen Rider Spirits.

• One of Jill's distracted thoughts when mixing is wondering if the order was a rabbit. This a reference to the 4koma manga Is the Order a Rabbit.

• Jill's first debt is to renew a subscription to a VR porn site named "Shining Fingered". This is a reference to the anime Mobile Fighter G Gundam.

• Jill is the only character known to currently smoke, although she'll always offer a cigarette to anyone who joins her on her break in case they want one. Only Sei has commented on how she smoked in the past but quit after High School.

• Jill is pretty good with tongue twisters. She can say "How can a clam cram in a clean cream can?" fast multiple times without stuffing up.

• Jill doesn't mind spicy things, but isn't really a fan of them either.

• Jill doesn't like coffee.

• Even though Jill is not a big fan of Rad Shiba, she can do a raspberry over one of his jokes about barking: "Hey! If I bark, then I'm not the king of the bar! 'cause I'm barking!"

• In the truth or dare segment on day 13, Alma can reveal that she has hacked into Jill's phone (which is a CaliCOMP phone). CaliCOMP gets updates more than any other system in the world. Every week, Alma updates her CaliCOMP hack program, using Jill as a guinea pig. Alma hacks into Jill's phone once a week and takes a photo a week (since Jill takes photos daily). If Alma notices that the program is missing a week, she looks for the missing pic and investigates.

• Jill used to play the violin but quit around when she was 16.

• Jill is a little self-conscious about her height in the circumstance that her height not being average height "hinders [her] somehow".

• Jill doesn't wear dresses often because she worries that her arms will look too thin wearing one.

• Jill's favorite part of the chicken is the legs. She likes the texture more than other parts of the chicken such as the breast (stating she finds it a bit too simple).

• When asked what she traits she likes in girls, she said that she likes girls with light colored hair.

• On day 11, if you serve Alma a sweet drink on her first order, Jill will comment that "sweet things always soothe me".

• Jill has an BTC-issued liver implant. That means she can drink lots of beer without getting too wasted.

• Jill is allergic to shrimp, as shown in a comment on the article "70% of our readers..."

• She had a childhood dream of becoming a ventriloquist, which as an adult she considers embarrassing.

• Since she was in high school Jill has had an irrational fear of space aliens.

• Jill's grandfather (from her mom's side) ate Bronson roots every morning.

• Jill's grandfather taught Jill how to do shoulder massages.

• Selecting Jill after buying the shoulder massager will cause her to blush and close one eye, implying she is using it as a masturbatory tool.

• It's very likely that her surname of "Stingray" is a reference to "Bubblegum Crisis" character Sylia Stingray.

• It is also implied she has a crush on some of her female friends, including Alma Armas and Dana Zane.

• Although the game focuses on Jill's relationship with Lenore, there are numerous indications that she's actually bisexual:

• In a conversation with Alma, she states that she prefers her men to be "decent enough", to be "not jealous, not aggressive, responsible enough to keep a job", and to have "no tattoos or piercings".

• While drinking beer on her balcony with her boss, she describes the qualities she used to look for in men, and how they changed over time. If drunk enough, she also discusses losing her virginity with a boy — albeit with some difficulty, since she finds the appearance of male genitals to be highly amusing.

• After paying your bills, Jill will say "Bills paid." which "Fore" then replies with "Didn't you have a boyfriend named Bill?"

• In a conversation with Betty talking about relationships, she talks about how she picked up an annoying habit correcting people's grammar while with her first boyfriend.
