Fernando Garibay's biggest claim to fame is the ambitious, brawny bricollage he contributed to Lady Gaga’s Born This Way—a supercollider of greasy riffs, plunking strings, and pounding disco beats. On "Your Body", the standout of a new three-track EP released between himself and Kylie Minogue, he eschews the '80s schmaltz, developing Minogue’s voice into an icy prism through which the rest of the song’s intricacies fall into place. Needless to say, those who found Moroder and Minogue’s previous collaboration "Right Here, Right Now" a bit too bubblegum will enjoy delving in to this unexpectedly labyrinthine composition, situated somewhere between Eurodisco and a dispatch from a far-off planet.
