I don't think it's a good idea to assume that the ancient dragon slayer crew are gonna live after leaving the book. If time flows the same in the back as in reality. The moment these dragon slayers step out of the book, they'll turn to dust since none of them are demigods with prolonged life.

I realized they loved each other after reading this chapter. Then I read back and found that Siatas saved Mobet twice in the battle with her wind. When the dragon use his tail, Mobet was thrown by her wind but she got heavy injure.
The author are really good at describing such details.

How come no one want to comment on how mobet and siatas mouth curls upward when they realize not only theyre both dying but in their last moment,they both decide to reach for each other in the few seconds they have left to be in each other's embrace/touch.and the whole time,read, centuries/milleniums they spent 'hating' each other's gut inside the book because of the difference in time and faith.they may actually had grown to fall in love with each other but never get to express it this whole time only confirming bout each other feeling with the last few breath they had left,hence the blissful smile.an arrogant royalty and a prideful elf,a love across epoch and time.FAK THE FEEL.

It's also possible that the book perpetuated their conflict that originated over faith by influencing their minds and actions, preventing them from ever being together because it wasn't "convenient" for the story.
In my headcanon, that's how it is. After that much time in the book, they would have figured out what was going on, even if they couldn't act against the "story", so being finally freed from the book, even for mere seconds, they would finally have been free of that influence, even if all they could do with that freedom is smile and clasp hands.

I really hope Klein gets the book. Since Edwina was rescued it makes sense she gets the least and since Klein led and discovered both what was wrong and how to fix it he should get the most. 2 picks for Klein who chooses first, 2 picks for Anderson and 1 item for Edwina? Klein chooses the book and Ocean Songster Characteristic, Anderson doesn’t care so Edwina picks the Dream Stealer Characteristic for Jodeson leaving the Guardian and Priest of Light Characteristics for Anderson? Seems reasonable to me.
Hopefully Edwina doesn’t give up characteristics for the book though that would be a bummer.

While the Monster pathway's power of forcibly changing 'fate' makes it seem like bestowing luck, the core principle is that 'fate' is predetermined. On the other hand, the Seer pathway's principle is that amidst the unpredictable and cruel nature of 'fate', hopes and opportunities exist.
"Luck enhancement" in this sense could perhaps be redefined as "No matter how tough the going gets, that there is always a silver lining. One just have to work hard for it".

Formula (~4000) + characteristic (~8000?) is BANK. A very profitable trip. Not to mention a book potentially at angel level even if it’s currently useless. Danitz should sell the characteristic to Anderson for formulas and a couple thousand pounds, finding the right formulas is rare.

I liked Sharron, until I learned she was in the zombie/etc. pathway. I love Audrey, but Edwina is best for Klein, by far. I don't really like Cattleya, as much. Despite being in the mystery pathway, Edwina is a better intellectual, with a less messed up personality. You've basically got the school ship vs the dangerous mad science ship...

The mythical creature form is really interesting. We know that one for Wheel of Fortune pathway is the Snake of mercury. Klein saw it was a Giant silver snake (chap 387).
So far, it's rare to see demigod fight using their Mythical Forms. I don't believe we've seen any sequence 2 and 1 fights. Or maybe we've seen the forms but don't even know it

Both personas are unique and interesting to read. However, I like him most when Klein acts as himself, Klein Moretti. Hope Klein can regain his own identity after he get strong enough and hopefully find a spouse while he's at it. :P

Clearly Death Knell is the name of a kawaii waifu! It will obviously have yandere traits because obvi. Just imagining a pistol huff and puff in jealousy because Klein is using Creeping Hunger would make my year. Its negative side effect would be highly possessive and very moody. But its waifu bonus would be damage increase for every person/animal/thing it sees as a love rival. (Hint: Everything is its love rival)

It's been Marionettist for at least a few weeks by now. This term was deemed more accurate than Nimblewright Master, which I suppose is due to the strings. Nimblewright Master still made a lot of sense. Puppeteer seemed too general.

I have an idea. A "marionette" = a small figure operated from above with strings by a puppeteer. Basically, a puppet. In most puppet shows, the aim is to make the puppet perform so that it seems like it is real and the puppeteer 👥 is usually hidden behind the curtains. The puppet needs to steal the attention, not the puppeteer. Perhaps the acting for a Marionettist 👥 is to control a marionette/puppet to act as real without revealing any problems or the fact that it is a puppet while the marionettist remains hidden.
If the audience believes the acting of the puppet, the feedback will help in digestion of the Marionettist potion.

如果观众相信了木偶的表演，那么观众的反馈就能帮助秘偶大师进行魔药消化。
