In article number 2103822, Yan Qiao, Zhisong Lu, and co-workers develop a weavable, washable and scalable cotton-yarn-based sweat-activated battery with a segmented structure. The 1-dimensional design enables the battery to be integrated into fabrics as a biocompatible and reliable power source for the construction of self-powered textile-based wearable systems.

Photoactivatable tyrosinase is synthesized with site-specific incorporation of o-nitrobenzyl tyrosine and then encapsulated into lipid nanoparticles as an artificial melanosome for transdermal delivery. This biomimetic system can recapitulate the biosynthetic analogs of naturally occurring melanin.

The energy interrupter shows a preferential tumor systemic energy exhaustion without obvious side effects by synergizing the “Zn2+ interference”-mediated glycolysis inhibition and Zn2+-activating GLUT1 (glucose transporter 1) tumor specific depletion.
