报告摘要
In our highly urbanized world, communities residing in cities find themselves at the crossroads of numerous exposures. While epidemiological symptoms serve as useful indicators of contaminant exposure, it is crucial to define the exposure attributes of urban populations. Recognizing the inherent connection between these two aspects, a conceptual framework has been developed to comprehend the idea of reducing exposure in order to enhance health outcomes. The approach presented here involves conducting in-depth monitoring of health symptoms within urban communities and categorizing their living and/or occupational attributes. Subsequently, innovative analysis techniques are employed to identify evidence of health risks. By utilizing this approach, environmental epidemiology can be used as a robust tool for addressing perils of urban exposures and providing clear recommendations for preventive measures aimed at improving urban health. This study concludes that implementation a comprehensive urban epidemiological strategy is vital for mitigating the perils of urban exposure.
