第一章

一头蓝灰色长毛的公猫穿过灌木丛，月光在树叶上闪烁。当他靠近那只小白母猫时，爪子里的星星闪闪发光。

“嗨，”他平静地喵着。“我是蓝花，我是来告诉你一个预言的。”

“我是不是被星族猫拜访了？这太太太太太太酷了！”亮爪竖起尾巴，“这是自从我之前参观银石以来，第一次被星族拜访。嗨，蓝花，你有什么要告诉我的吗？松鼠毛曾经告诉我你和夜星是伴侣。”

“冷静点。你是一只医药猫，星族经常会造访医药猫。我要告诉你一个秘密的预言。”

“哇。”亮爪睁大了眼睛。

“你出生后几天，白星就收到了一个预言。”蓝花喵着。“你可以自己试试去了解。我只是想让你知道……你和你姐姐有超能力。”

“真的吗？”喵着亮爪。

蓝花用牙捡起一片叶子，落在爪子上。“现在，试试，看我的爪子。”

“等等，”亮爪叹了口气。“我真的能看穿东西吗？我甚至能看到你爪子下面的地面。”

“你甚至可以看到猫的骨头和器官。”蓝花笑了。“你只是没有意识到。这种特殊的力量将极大地帮助你应对疾病。”

“太棒了。暗爪的超能力是什么呢？”

“她必须自己去发现。或者我会在需要告诉她的时候告诉她。”蓝花平静地喵着。“但是你必须保守这个秘密。不要告诉任何猫，除了暗爪，甚至是你最好的朋友和亲爱的家人。”

“连雨爪和白爪都不行？”

“连她们也不行。”

“行吧”亮爪又叹了口气。“我想我只能带着这过下去了。”

“祝你好运，小家伙。”喵着蓝花。“再见。”

“再见，蓝花！我期待你的下次来访！”

亮爪睁开了眼睛。她睡在草做的窝里，就像这整个月一样。雨爪打了个大哈欠，穿过狐狸窝。月带着两只肥家鼠回来了。

“谢谢。”亮爪拿了一个，“你要一个吗，雨爪？”

“不用了，我宁可在河里抓条鱼。你可以吃我的家鼠。”

“月，我们什么时候才能到达那个‘多云的地方’？”亮爪一边问，一边想把两只老鼠放进她的嘴里。

“你已经问过很多次了。”月咕哝道。“我说我不确定。我们已经达到了我们能达到的最快速度。也许在日出内？”

“你总是这样回答我，”亮爪爬出洞穴，“是的，总是‘几日出’，到底几日出？”

“不到四分之一个月亮。”月微微一笑，“这次是真的。”

Chapter 1

Moonlight glimmered on the leaves as a long-haired blue-gray tom walked through the bushes. Stars sparkled in his paws as he padded near the little white she-cat.

"Hi," he mewed quitely."I'm Blueflower, and…… I'm here to tell you a prophecy."

"Am I visited by a StarClan cat? That's COOOOOL!"Brightpaw lifted her tail,"It's the first time I've ever been visited by StarClan since I visited Silverstone moons ago. Hi, Blueflower, do you have something to tell me? Squirrelfur once told me that you and Nightstar are mates."

"Just calm down. You're a medicine cat, its common for medicine cats to be visited by StarClan. I'm going to tell you about a secret prophercy."

"Wow."Brightpaw's eyes widened.

"Whitestar recieved a prophecy a few days after you were born." Blueflower mewed. "You can try to find out it yourself. I'm just letting you know that……You and your sister have superpowers."

"Really?"mewed Brightpaw.

Blueflower picked up a leaf with his teeth, and dropped it on his paw. "Now, try to see my paw."

"Wait,"Brightpaw gasped."I really could see through things? I could even see the ground under your paw."

"You could even see cats' bones and organs."Blueflower smiled."You just didn't realize. This special power will greatly help you deal with disease."

"That's fantastic. What is Darkpaw's superpower?"

"She'll have to find it herself. Or I'll tell her when she needs to be told."Blueflower mewed calmly."But you have to keep this secret. Don't tell any cat except Darkpaw, even your best friends and loving family."

"Not even Rainpaw and Whitepaw?"

"Not even them."

"Fine" Brightpaw sighed."I guess I'll have to go on with it."

"Good luck, little one."mewed Blueflower."Bye."

"Good-bye, Blueflower! I'll be looking forward to your next visit!"

Brightpaw opened her eyes. She was sleeping in a grass-made nest, just as she did for a whole moon. Rainpaw let out a huge yawn and walked through the fox den. Moon just came back with two fat rats. 

"Thanks."Brightpaw took one, "Would you like one,  Rainpaw?"

"Na, I'd rather catch fish in the stream. You can take my rat."

"Moon, when will we get to that cloudy place?"Brightpaw asked as she tried to fit two rats in her mouth.

"You've asked that many times."Moon purred."I said I don't know for sure. We're already on the fastest speed we could get. Maybe a few sunrises?"

"And you always awnser me that,"Brightpaw padded to get out of the cave,"Yeah, always,'a few sunrises', How many sunrises, exactly?"

"Less than a quarter moon."Moon smiled slightly,"This time for real."
