Characteristics of Inconel718

1.Good processing properties in the solution-annealed condition2.Good mechanical short and long-term properties, and great fatigue strength in the age hardened condition3.Good creep resistance up to 700 °C 4. Corrosion resistance of Inconel718

Based on the high chrome and molybdenum concentrations, GH4169 has a good resistance in many media against abrasive and local corrosion such as pitting. By virtue of its high nickel content, GH4169 also has good resistance against stress corrosion cracking.

Typical applications of Inconel718

1.Alloy has been used to make aero-engine turbine discs, rings, casings, shafts, blades, fasteners, elastic elements, gas conduits, sealing elements and welded structural parts;

2.Make turbine rotors and other components in liquid hydrogen and liquid oxygen rocket engines;

3.Make various elastic elements and grids for nuclear power industry applications;

4.Manufacture various parts used in petroleum and chemical industry.
