Really interesting to see the life of a foreigner with a Chinese family. Can you do a series on the life of different professions in China, such as schools, teachers, Doctors and even mothers. It's interesting to see how they live their life in China whether they are a national or not, since the West goes out of its way to dehumanize people. It would be nice to see regular Chinese people, do regular things that are relatable.

I miss sharing meals like that with my family and friends in China. I think most of the people here in the US are clueless about China. They just go by what they hear and see from the western media and politicians. And almost all of that is negative. I guy at my local bar told me once that all they eat in China is fish and rice. And that they live in little cubes. Of course, he's never been to China.

In China, there are generally two ways to buy groceries. One is that there is a special vegetable market, which has more and fresher dishes, but middle-aged and elderly people go there more often. If you need it, they can cut vegetables and meat for you. The other is the supermarket that young people go to, it is more convenient and cheaper (compared to the specialized vegetable market, it is not so fresh)
