英语作文人工批改：blind eye符合英语习惯吗

英语好像一般不说 blind eyes。但有一个很常用的例外，即turn a blind eye (to sth) 这一习语，意思是“（对……）假装看不见（不理会、不计较）”。如：

The manager turned a blind eye when his staff were late. 职员迟到时经理装作没看见。

I can’t turn a blind eye when someone is being robbed. 当有人遭到抢劫时，我不能视而不见。

You shouldn’t really drink here, but I’m willing to turn a blind eye to it. 你不该在这儿喝酒，不过我愿意对此事睁一只眼闭一只眼。

There’s so much suffering in the world, you can’t just turn a blind eye to it. 世界上有那么多人在受苦，你不可能视而不见。
